255,658. Zephyr Carburettors, Ltd., and Copson, T. C., Aug. 15, 1925. Windows and the like, cleaning.-In a wind-screen cleaner of the pivoted arm type, the wiper arm extends across and beyond a stem 2 and the arm 4 supporting the squeegee 7 is resiliently adjustable axially on the stem, preferably by means of a collar 9 screwing on the stem and pressing against the arm, as shown. The arm 4 is bent to hairpin shape and passes transversely through the stem. The arm may be perforated for the stem to pass through or may be attached to a U-shaped bracket surrounding the stem. The collar 9, which is shown in inoperative position, is notched to engage the arm 4.
