Abstract

254,768. Button, E. D. March 9, 1925. Spats or gaiters.-In a spat or gaiter made entirely from one piece of elastic material, the spat or gaiter is moulded in one piece from india rubber and is cut through to form an opening 2 closed by fastenings 5 which may be buttons, press fasteners, or the like. At the bottom integral rubber straps 6 are attached by integrally moulded rubber buttons 7 engaging buttonholes 8. A row of holes 9 may be formed for ventilation or decoration at the front of the spat. The spat has an ornamental design on the outside.
