Description
SPECIFICATION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is in the technical field of telecommunications/electronic devices. In more depth, the present invention is in the technical field of mobile telecommunication devices. More particularly, the present invention is in the technical field of wearable smart phones.
The present invention is a wearable smartphone in the form of a glove. The present invention will target audience users from several backgrounds and should be used as a replacement to the conventional mobile phone/smartphone that it is currently known. Conventional mobile phones are a piece of rectangular hardware that is used for everyday communications between people. These devices can be easily misplaced or can be targeted and get stolen. A lot of dangers are involved for people using a conventional mobile phone. Further, it is not an uncommon experience to realize that people who engage and use their mobile phones while driving can cause dangerous road accidents, with the worst case scenario leading to death.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a wearable smartphone device for users to use it everywhere at anytime without loosing focus on other tasks. This invention and its main focus is, to replace conventional smartphones as we know them and move to a new field of wearable smart phones. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS (Pages 9 to 11)
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a glove device of the present invention. (Dorsal Aspect of left glove wearable device)
Figure 2 is a perspective view of a glove device of the present invention of Figure 1. (Palmar Aspect of left glove wearable device)
Figure 3 is a perspective view of a glove device of the present invention illustrating the back of the glove device of Figure 1.
Figure 4 is a side view of a glove device of the present invention of Figure 1.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Referring now to the invention in more detail, in Figure 1, Figure 2 and Figure 4, there is shown a glove device on its Dorsal, Palmar and side aspects. 6 & 10 shows the wristlet for the glove, which securely fits the glove into the bearer’s hand like a normal watch. (6 refers to the wristlet and 10 refers to the securing mechanism) In further detail, still referring to 6, 1 represents a rectangular touch enabled display whereas 7 represents speakers, which are, stationed left and right of the screen (1). Wristlet (6) will also host a battery module, a processing module and wireless and GSM communication modules underneath the display (1). Wristlet will also host movement sensors, (e.g.: accelerometers and gyro meters) Two batteries will be interconnected together. One stationed underneath display 1 and one stationed underneath display 2. Securing mechanism (10) will also host the GSM card for enabling the device for communication purposes.
With still referring to Figure 1 and Figure 4 and in further detail, 8 represent a connector cable (flexible printed circuit cable) (non detachable) of flexible material extending from 1 & 6 and connects to 2. Whereas 2 represents a circular touch enabled second display.
Referring to Figure 1, Figure 2 and Figure 3, 3 represents the small hand finger of the glove device (left-handed), where a microphone is stationed.
Referring to Figure 1 and Figure 2, 5 represents the thumb hand finger of the glove device, where a speaker is stationed. In Figure 4, 5 again represents the thumb hand finger of the glove device, where a speaker is stationed but the figure is a representation of a right-handed glove device.
Referring to Figure 1, Figure 2 and Figure 4, 4 represents input sensors for the glove device, extending from the glove device, (e.g.: heart-rate sensor)
Referring now only to Figure 2, 9 represents a camera lens with flash enabled lights - LED, stationed on the palmar aspect of the glove device.
Referring now only to Figure 3, 11 refers to the glove’s peripheral port having the same dimensions as an audio jack.
The construction details of the invention as shown in Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3 and Figure 4, are that the glove may be made out of durable (high-strength) and water resistant plastic or by any equivalent material such as silicone rubber and or polyester. Electronic parts and their respective enclosures such as the wristlet (6) and screens (1 & 2) may be made of aluminium and glass or other equivalent materials such as graphite or stainless steel. Furthermore various components of the glove device can be made of different materials (6 &10). 8, which represents the connector cable may be made out of silicon rubber with a polyester insulation. 9 which represents a camera lens may be made by glass or any equivalent material used in the production of camera lenses such as quartz glass, fluorite, plexiglass, germanium or even meteoritic glass. Materials already used in the industry of creating such modules may make up the LED flash module.
Referring to Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3 and Figure 4, size of the glove wearable device, will differ according to the user’s hand dimensions. The glove wearable device may be built in different sizes for both human genders - Men and Women.
In further detail dimensions for the glove device may vary from 7.5 -11.0 inches for Men hand sizes, leaving intact the dimensions of 1, 2 & 6 where there will be a standard across all sizes.
In further detail dimensions for the glove device may vary from 6 - 8.5 inches for Women hand sizes, leaving intact the dimensions of 1, 2 & 6 where there will be a standard across all sizes.
Two interconnected batteries may be used for supplying power to the device, which one is stationed under the circular display and one stationed under the wristlet.
The advantages of the present invention include, without limitation, that it is portable and exceedingly easy to wear by the user. The device can be easily worn like a normal glove and its lightweight. Using such a device requires one person. Generally this device can be used in many occasions such as haunting, swimming, hiking, bicycling or even driving without affecting the user’s focus.
While the above written description of the presented invention enables one of ordinary or no skill to use what is considered presently to be the best mode thereof, those of ordinary skill will easily understand and appreciate the existence of using this invention in different situational variations, and equivalents of the specific embodiment, method, and examples herein. The invention should therefore not be limited by the above described embodiment, method, and examples, but by all embodiments and methods within the scope and spirit of the invention as claimed.
