Abstract
A sachet 2 wherein the internal storage area is partially divided by a sealed strip extending across most of the width of the sachet towards one end. The sealed strip forms two connected areas 1, 3 within the sachet, one of which 3 is tube-like, being narrow compared to its length. The sealed strip has a slit 4 along most of its length. The peripheral seal of the sachet has one or more notches 5 adjacent to the narrow area opposite the slit in the sealed strip so that when torn, an open ended dispensing tube (7, fig. 2) is created. The sachet may have a hole (12, fig. 7) for hanging. Once opened, the sachet may be closed using a clip (13, fig. 8). The sachet may be used when filling liquid tanks of electronic cigarettes or electronic shisha pens.
Description
Sachet in which after opening one part of the sachet works as a narrow pouring nozzle or a narrow pipe.
Technical Field
The invention relates, in general, to packages comprising articles or materials wholly enclosed in strips, sheets, blanks, or tubes of flexible sheet material.
Background Art
Sachets are known which provide economical and promotional means for storing liquid, semiliquid, or paste products where products can be discharged for use by opening the sachet by tearing or cutting off an edge or a corner of the sachet.
For example:
DE2621351 (A1), published on 17th November 1977, "Liquid or paste product sachet -has plastics body sealed at edges by aluminium foil backing", the sachet consists of a rectangular or square piece of foil which is applied around the edges to a sheet of plastic. This plastic sheet is shaped to allow a volume between the foil and the sheet. The sheet and foil are sealed together around the edge. A nozzle is included in one corner of the sachet. The sachet is opened by cutting the corner off with scissors across the nozzle. The product may then be entirely squeezed out.
EP0046021 (A1), published on 17th February 1982, " Sachets and methods for their production'', the sachet which may be made by forming a dish-like pocket in a sheet of film or foil, placing a measured amount of liquid, suitably an antiseptic into the pocket, placing a piece of carrier having base area smaller than the base area of the pocket into the pocket, placing a second film or foil over the pocket which contains the liquid and piece of carrier to form an assembly, evacuating the pocket and around the assembly below atmospheric pressure, heat sealing the second film or foil around the edge of the pocket to form a sachet and releasing the vacuum around the sachet. Atmospheric pressure will cause the pocket to decrease in volume, and compress the carrier.
The object of the present invention is to provide a sachet which after opening would permit to fill containers having very narrow filling hole or required using a long and narrow pouring nozzle or a narrow pipe.
Disclosure
According to the invention, the sachet is designed in such a way that after opening part of the sachet have long narrow shape which would permit to fill containers having very narrow filling hole or containers required to fill them using a long and narrow pouring nozzle or a narrow pipe. The part of a long narrow shape is integrated part of the sachet. During squeezing out the product from the sachet the long narrow part of the sachet is a spout which acts as a narrow pipe or a long narrow funnel.
Description of Drawings
The subject of the invention in example is shown on the illustration in which fig. 1 presents the scheme of a rectangular sachet. The sealed material of the sachet 2 creates the cavity 1 and the long narrow spout 3 connected with the cavity 1. One edge of the spout 3 is parallel to the base 6. By tearing the sachet, from the short slit 5 to the long slit 4, the long narrow part 7 ( fig. 2) with the spout 3 becomes.
Fig. 2 shows part of the sachet 7 which acts as a narrow pipe or a long narrow funnel during squeezing out liquid, semi-liquid, or paste product from the sachet.
Fig. 3 shows the same scheme of a sachet as shown in fig. 1. The additional slit 8 is the next place to tear the sachet from the slit 8 to the long slit 4. It gives possibility to make a bigger hole in the end of the part similar to the part 7 (fig. 2) . The bigger hole allows emptying the sachet faster if necessary.
Fig. 4 shows the scheme of a rectangular sachet very similar to scheme shown in fig. 1 with additional part 9 as the end of the long narrow spout 3. The part 9 is perpendicular or oblique to the main axis of of the long narrow spout 3. The part 9 allows tearing the sachet from the short slit 10 to the long slit 4 what allows creating the long narrow part similar to the part 7 (fig. 2).
Fig. 5 shows the scheme of the sachet where one edge of the spout 3 is perpendicular to the base 6.
Fig 6. shows the scheme of the sachet having the long narrow part 11 which is created in the production process as the extension part of the sachet.
Fig. 7 shows the scheme of the sachet which has the hole 12 which can be used to hang the sachet.
Fig. 8 shows the sachet which after opening can be closed by the clip 13.
Industrial Applicability
The subject of the invention can find its use as economical as well as promotional packages which allow to fill containers having very narrow filling hole or required using a long and narrow pouring nozzle especially to fill liquid tanks used as parts of electronic cigarettes or electronic shisha pens.
