Abstract

253,845. Padgett, C. W. March 26, 1926. Date indicators. - A date indicator comprises a casing 1 Figs. 1, 3 and 4, of stamped metal having a recessed portion 2 in which are secured three hollow cylinders 5 .. 7 provided with an arrangement of apertures 8 - - 11 for displaying the day names, date figures, and month names marked on drums 18 - - 21 mounted within the cylinders and independently rotatable by means of milled flanges 22 - - 25 on one end of each drum. The drums are held in position by a central rod 26 with nuts at both ends. The drums 19, 20 for the date figures are each inscribed with the digits 0 to 9. The calendar may be applied to an inkstand as shown in Fig. 8 or combined with a pencil or pen holder, memorandum block, photographic frame, clock, or paper weight.
