Abstract

A jewellery ring 3 with an interchangeable section 1 that allows the decoration of the ring to be changed. The interchangeable section is preferably shaped and sits within a shaped depression in the ring, and is secured in position by two screws 2 positioned either side of the interchangeable section 1.

Description

Working in the jewellery industry has astonished me. I feel that there is a lack of creativity and intricate detail within the different yet similar styles available. After months of hard work, thorough investigation and inspiration whilst working with my father, an extremely talented and high end jeweller, I have created a unique design that is promised to catch the human eye.
After noticing a big gap in the market of costume jewellery and realising interchangeable jewellery is nearly non existant, I therefore decided to set out and create an interchangeable ring which can have a different design at a fraction of the cost.
The main striking feature of this design is that it is one ring, capable of having a different design for each day of the week. It is quick and easy to change the design of the ring, and the interchangeable piece will be inexpensive to buy a new design.
introcjo Please find attached two drawings of the mechanism on a gentleman's signet ring which will enable you to see how the mechanism works.
Figure 1: A 3d rendered image showing the function of the signet ring. Figure 2: The dimensions of the ring in size S This interchangeable ring design has a removeable top section (1) which has a rare design and locking mechanism, which is secured in place with two screws (2) which are made out of precious metals on either side. The screws are made to sit flush so when in place they are not noticeable. The shaped centre enables the top/design part (1) to not fall through/out (3) the ring, which stabilises security.

Claims (3)
