Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle 10 configured for autonomous driving, the vehicle 10 having detection means 12 for detecting the presence of a non-motorised traffic participant 16, such as a pedestrian or cyclist, in the surroundings of the vehicle 10. The vehicle 10 has communication means 18, 20, 40 configured to provide information to the traffic participant dependent on the detection of the presence of the traffic participant 10 in the surroundings of the vehicle 10. The communication means 18, 20 may comprise a plurality of light sources wherein the vehicle 10 comprises control means 30 to activate and deactivate the light sources 18, 20 separately. The communication means 40 may comprise an acoustic output device 40 configured to provide sound and/or at least one word.
