Abstract

A cosmetic container includes a container body 1 having a receiving space 10 for a product such as a cosmetic powder. A lid unit 2 covers the top opening of the receiving space 10. A press unit 3 includes a blocking member 31 which is removably inserted into the receiving space 10 for blocking the cosmetic product 8. The press unit 3 also includes an abutment member 32 which protrudes from the lid 2 to abut against the blocking member 31. When the lid 2 is released from the top opening of the receiving space 10, the abutment member 32 moves together with the lid unit 2 away from the receiving space 10. The abutment member 32 may or may not be secured to the blocking member 31. The invention prevents powdered product from dispersing within the container if it is turned upside down.
