Abstract
A face mask structure having a barrier component (2), the face mask structure comprising a face mask body (1), at least one barrier component (2) and a pair of straps (3); the face mask body (1) has at least one side edge (11); the barrier component (2) is correspondingly connected to the side edge (11) and forms an angle Î with the face mask body (1); and the pair of straps (3) are fixed at two sides of the face mask body (1). A barrier component (2) is provided at the side edge of the face mask to prevent the inhaled or exhaled air from seeping into or leaking out from the side edge of the face mask when in use, thus allowing air to be completely filtered through the face mask, and improving air tightness and filtration efficiency of the face mask.

FACE MASK STRUCTURE HAVING BARRIER COMPONENT
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
[0001] The present invention generally relates to a mask structure, more particularly to a mask structure having battier component.
2. Description of the Related Act
(0002] Nowadays, the face mask is broadly applied in various applications, such as riding a bike, working in a restaurant, a hospital, a factory, and a clean room, etc., for the purpose of barricading polluted air, dust, bacteria or virus to ensure that people are not infected and products are not contaminated. It is thus well known the face masks applied to aforesaid applications are mostly formed from one or multi-layers of flat type gauze, cotton, non-woven fabric or paper in order to satit the demands for low cost and high consumption.
[0003] As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, a traditional non-woven mask or a traditional clothes, gauze mask etc. mainly has a mask body 10 and two bands 20, the mask body 10 having two sides 30, and each band 20 fixes at two sides 30 in order to form a pair of hanging structure wherein bands extending from the side of the face mask around the back of the wearer's ears or over the head.
(0004] However, the filtering efficiency of a mask depends on whether or not the air being breathed in and out by the user is forced to go through the mask body 10 during wear. It is difficult to conforming the various contours of the human face when wearing the mask made of clothes, gauze or non-woven etc.. More particularly, the gaps caused by the pull force from the bands, and the crease space created by extending the mask body 10 while in wear. Therefore, some of the air being breathed in and out by the user is allowed to bypass the filter of the mask, resulting in the filtering efficiency of the mask being tremendously decreased and the users having a higher risk of breathing in dust; bacteria or viruses.
(0005] Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has studied the traditional technologies and related new technologies in order to figure out and overcome the shortcomings of related arts.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0006] The main objective of the present invention is to provide a mask structure with a subsidiary part. The present invention has a plurality of subsidiary parts at edge sides to prevent air leakage from the edge sides during wear. The fitness ability of the mask is thus increased. It helps all air being breathed in and out by the wearer forced to go through the face mask and the mask's filtering efficiency is improved thereon.
[0007] To approach above objective, the mask structure with a subsidiary part of the present invention has: a mask body, having at least one edge side; at least one subsidiary part, connecting with and being conesponding to the edge side, and an angle formed between the subsidiary part and the mask body; and a band set, fixing at the two sides of the mask body.
[0008] When a user wears a mask, the subsidiary part connecting with the two edge sides of the mask body cover the gap between the mask body and the face of the user to prevent air leakage during wear. The fitness ability of the mask is thus increased, having the air being breathed in and out by the wearer forced to go through the mask and filtered by the mask body, making it possible to achieve the outstanding filtering efficiency of the mask structure of the present invention.
[0009] In addition, the best range of the angle fonned between the subsidiary part and the mask body is 15 degrees to 90 degrees. The subsidiary part are configured intersecting or in a perpendicular orientation to the mask body I and the face. Hence, although the area of the subsidiary part is not very large, the gap between the mask body and the face can be effectively covered, further promoting the blocking ability of the mask structure as well.
[0010] Moreover, the subsidiary part is formed by bending the elongation section, making the mask structure of the present invention easily manufactured with reprocess, allowing for economic manufacturing.
[0011] Additionally, the mask body forms a plurality of creases in other to fit with various shapes of the face to be a popular mask siructure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0013] Following preferred embodiments and figures will be described in detail so as to achieve aforesaid objects.
[0014] Please refer to Fig. 3 to Fig. 6. The present invention provides a mask structure with a subsidiaiy part, and the mask structure mainly has a mask body 1, at least one subsidiaiypart2andabandset3.
[0015] The mask body I has at least one edge side 11, and forms a plurality of creases (12), each of the edge sides (11) of the mask body (I) extends to form an elongation section (111), wherein the number of the edge side (11) is two, the two edge sides (11) are at the left side and the right side of the mask body (1), but not limit thereto.
[0016] The number of the subsidiary part 2 is the same as the number of the edge side 11, the subsidiary part 2 connects with and is corresponding to the edge side 11, the subsidiary part 2 is formed by bending the elongation section III, the elongation section 111 firmly connect with the mask body I with an angIe 8 between 0 degree and 150 degrees, preferably the angle 0 is between 15 degrees and 90 degrees wherein the angle 0 is between the subsidiary part 2 and the mask body 1.
[0017] The band set 3 fixes at the two sides of the mask body I, the band set 3 has two bands 31, each of the two ends of the bands 31 fixes at the upper end or the lower end of the mask body 1.
[0018] The present invention is an assembly, which is the mask structure with the subsidiary part, and the mask body I has two edge sides II; the subsidiary part 2 connects with and is corresponding to the edge sides 11, and the angle 0 is formed between the subsidiary part 2 and the mask body 1; the band set 3 fixes at the two sides of the mask body I. As shown in Fig. 6, when a user wears a mask, the subsidiary part 2 connecting with the twoedgesidesil ofthemaskbodylcoverthegapbetweenthemaskbodyI andthefaceof the user to prevent air leakage during wear. The fitness ability of the mask is thus increased, and the air being breathed in and out by the user is forced to go through the mask and be filtered by the mask body 1, so that an outstanding filtering efficiency of the mask structure of the present invention can be achieved.
[0019] In addition, the best range of the angIe 0 formed between the subsidiary part 2 and the mask body I is 15 degrees to 90 degrees. The subsidiary parts 2 are configured intersecting or in a perpendicular orientation to the mask body I and the face.

Each of the numbers of the edge side Ii and the subsidiary part 2 is two, the two edge sides ii are at. the top side and the bottom side of the mask body I, and the two subsidiary parts 2 are at the top side and the bottom side of the mask body I as well. Therefore, aforesaid functions and efiècts can be achieved.
[0023] Please refer to Fig. 8, which illustrates a schematic view of another embodiment of the mask structure of the present invention. Each of the numbers of the edge side Ii and the subsidiary part 2 is four, the four edge sides 11 are at the top side, the bottom side, the left side, and the right side of the mask body 1, and the four subsidiary parts 2 are at the top side, the bottom side, the left side, and the right side of the mask body 1 as well.
Therefore, aforesaid functions and effects can he achieved.

Claims (9)
- WHAT IS CLAIIvWD IS I. A mask structure comprising: a mask body (I), having at least one edge side (ii); at least one subsidiary part (2), connecting with and being corresponding to the edge side (II). with an angle (0) being formed between the subsidiary part (2) and the mask body (I); and a band set (3), fixed to the two sides ofthe mask body (1).
- 2, The mask structure according to claim I, wherein the at least one edge side (1]) extends to form an elongation section (iii), with the subsidiary part (2) being formed by bending the eLongation section (111).
- 3, The mask strjcture according to claim 2, wherein the two ends of the elongation section (lii) firmly connect with the mask body (I).
- 4. The mask structure according to claim 1, wherein the angle (0) is between 0 degree and 150 degrees.
- 5, The mask structure according, to claim 4, wherein the angle (0) is between IS degrees and 90 degrees.
- 6. i'he mask structure according to claim, wherein there are two edge (Lateral) sides (ii) and two subsidiary parts (2), with the two edge sides (ii) being at the left side and the right side of the mask body (1).
- 7. The mask structure according to claim I, wherein there are two edge sides (ii) and two subsidiary parts (2), with the two edge sides (11) being at the top side and the bottom side of the mask body (1).
- 8. The mask structure according to claim 1, wherein there are four edge. sides (11) and four subsidiary parts (2), the four edge sides (Ii) being at the to!) side. the bottom side, the left side, and the right side of the mask body (I).
