Abstract

A hair extension device comprises a detachable elasticated hair band 1 with hooks 2, 3 attached at either end. The hair piece comprising a weft 6 and attached hair 9 is connected to the hair band 1 using the hooks 2, 3 and eyes 7, 8. The seam on the hair weft 6 will be sewn together by thread. A hair extension device provides the user with the appearance of instant thicker and longer hair.

The invention relates to a device for producing instant thicker and longer hair.
When females require instant longer or fuller hair, clip-in hair extensiOnS is commonly the choice they opt for, However, the use of clip-in extensions can lead to a number of difficulties. When clip-in hair extensions are worn they are often not attached correctly causing the hair clips to loose their grip and slide out as well as causing baldness in the area. Furthermore, if the clip-in extensions are fitted incorrectly this can cause discomfort for the person and sometimes the hair clips can appear to be visible for everyohe to see. To overcome these problems, :.. the present invention proposes a hair weft with a hair band * attachment means for attaching the hair weft to the hair band. The detachable flexible elasticated hair band comes in various sizes, colours and patterns to suit -everyones taste. This allows the person to easily wear the hair piece comfortably and correctly.
Depending. on the size of the persons head and what is most comfortable to them the hair band hair piece can be wOrn anywhere from the middle of the crown (top of ears) to the nape area (base of neck).

The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 shows the hair piece on it's own. The detachable hair band and the human hair weft.
Figure 2 shows the hair piece attached and wearing it from the rear side. The hair band is hooked onto the hair weft. 2!
In figure 1, a detachable hair band I includes two hooks 2 and 3 which is attached at either end of the hair band by thread 4 and 5.
The hair weft 6 has two small holes either end 7 and 8. The hair weft 6 attaches to the hair band 1 by hook and eye. The hair weft 6 holds lots of human hair 9 together at the seam. The human hair 9 is stitched onto the hair weft 6 creating a hair piece.
Figure two shows a side rear view of how the hair piece us to be worn. The hair band 2 is only visible when wearing the hair piece.
The hook and eye 3,4 and the hair weft 5 can not be seen. The hair welt 5 can be worn at any level within the nape area 6 up to the persons ears 7.

Claims (3)

  1. Claims 1. A detachable flexible elasticated hair band attaches to the hair weft with hook and eye supporting the full hair piece.
  2. 2. A detachable hair band according to claim 1, in which the support is provided by hooking the hair band onto the hair weft securely.
  3. 3. A detachable hair band according to any of the preceding claims, in which the hair band detaches easily allowing the person to wear various different hair band styles.
