Abstract

Hair protection sleeves are made of heat resistant material and placed over the arm or arms of a hair styling appliance in use. They are preferably made from a lightweight material. The hair styling appliance used may be hair straighteners, a flat iron or curling tongs. These sleeves will protect the hair by preventing it from coming into direct contact with the heating parts of the appliances. The sleeves may be heat sealed at one end, and may have tags to tie them to the appliances to keep them in place. The sleeves would also protect flooring and furniture if the appliances are laid down while still hot.

HAIRPROTECTOR
This inveniion.relates to heat appliances for the hair. When using straightners or: Curling tongs, the hair comes into direct contact with the ceramic or metal on the appliances Over a period of time the hair gets dried out and can even be singed An exathple of the invention *ffl be described to the accompanying drawings: The invention is made of lightweight, heat resistant material, to make either two Oblong flat sleeves, for the straightners or one cylinder shaped sleeve, for the Curling tongs. These slevc would stop the hair from coming into direct contact With the ceramic or metal on these appliances. The material would be heat sealed with one end open to fit over the arms/ arm of the appliances: The sleeves may also have tags to tie them onto the appliances, to keep them in place. These sleeves would also help to protect flooring and furniture when they are laid down while still hot.

  1. CLAIMS1. These sleeves will help protect the hair from coming into direct contact with the ceramic or metal heaters on these appliances. -
  2. 2. These -sleeves will also help to protect flooring and furniture, when laid down while hot.
