Abstract

A harness 1 with no buckles or clips comprises a loop of material dividing by a central strip 4. A metal ring 5 is located on either side of the loop. In use a dog puts its two front legs either side of the central strip and the two metal rings are pulled up either side of the dog before being attached to the hook of a dog lead. The harness is made of lightweight material. The harness is used in preference to a collar to stop the dog from pressure around the neck.

Description

PAGE 1
DESCRIPTION: NO BUCKLES DOG HARNESS
This product relates to an easier alternative to a dogs collar.
Some dogs cannot tolerate a collar around its neck and the owner may prefer to use a harness.
A harness is a devise that a dog is able to put its head and legs through and it clips or buckles either under the dogs belly or at the shoulder. A lead is then attached.
My invention will show a simple idea of a harness with no buckles or clips.
It is especially useful for elderly, disabled or blind people that exercise their pet.
The no buckle harness can be made for any size of dog and will not put any pressure on a dog's neck.
The dog simply puts its legs either side of the central strip and the two metal rings are drawn together between the shoulders.
PAGE 2 The invention will now be described by way of example & with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 This shows the harness from an aerial view.
Figure 2 Two strips of material, cord or leather (1) are stitched together at points 2 and 3.
Figure 3 A strip of material, cord or leather (4) is stitched at the central point on both sides of item 1 making a triangular shape either side of the strip.
Figure 4 Two metal rings (5) are attached at points 2 and 3.
As per figure 1 the dogs legs are placed either side of the central strip (4). The two metal rings (5) are lifted either side of the dog and drawn together between the shoulders. A lead can then be attached to the two metal rings (5).

Claims (4)
