Abstract

A carton comprising a side wall (4) comprising a first panel (6) connected to a second panel (8), the first and second panels having free ends, a hinged base panel (20) hingedly connected to the first panel (6) and an inner base panel (26) hingedly connected to the second panel (8), the hinged base panel (20) being folded along a hinge line thereof and affixed to the inner base panel (26), the free ends of the sidewall being fixed to each other, whereby the hinged base panel (20) and inner base panel (26) are configured to form a base at the bottom of the carton.
