Abstract

249,850. Aktiebolaget Separator. March 26, 1925, [Convention date]. Density separators. - Centrifugal bowls A having inlet B and one or more outlets at the upper end of the bowl are emptied, wholly or partly, by an outlet siphon drawn in so near the centre of the bowl that centrifugal force prevents liquid from escaping at the normal speed, but permits the escape when the bowl stops. The tube may consist partly of a channel E in the casing A covered by the distributor F and terminating in a siphon tube G directed straight or obliquely downwards. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states also that the outlet may comprise a tube D placed at the bottom of the bowl, straight, radially or dblique. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
