Abstract

A housing comprises compartments 7 into which gifts are placed and an outer covering concealing the gifts. The outer covering has slots adjacent each gift compartment. A pull-string is attached to each gift and protrudes through corresponding slots, such that a user may pull on the string to draw the gift through the slots. The housing may be placed as a centre peace of a table around which a number of people are seated. The housing may have a decorative cover so as to appear as, for example, a snowman. The housing may take the form of an advent calendar.

Description

"A PRESENT SURPRISE" The device described can be of any proportionate size according to price or number of people at the occasion. The device described in this document is for every one to enjoy on special occasions, Birthdays,Christmas [perhaps as an advent calendar, with no,s I to 12 on the pull strings] A clown, with the pull strings through lots of patches all over the front and back,[for childrens parties) or as the illustrated one, a snowman.
S.....
The Figure is placed as a centre piece, decorative in itself with pretty strings stretched out from it, to each guest. The guest is then invited, on the count of three to "PULL ON THE STRING ", Through the side of the figure is pulled a "SMALL WRAPPED GIFT" which can be either, all boys, all girls, or mixed for old or young.
The customer could even purchase the empty figure to fill with their own choice of gift& Sweet and chocolate manufathires may be interested in using these figures for : Promoting their products "NOAH,S ARK" with chocolate animals to puLl out,The * SCOPE IS ENDLESS".
The standard base skeleton and idea will be used for many Different Costumed figures.
On these different figures it may be necessary to adapt some of the parts, with small changes to the shape and size of some parts.
The whole skeleton will be made from mouJded plastic, or [cardboard in cheaper versions] and will be a slot together-construction, including the plastic head which will slide onto the centre tube and fit into its pre-moulded location. The base of the *...: head has a large indentation, which will allow the head to sit on the body.
The cover is fairly stiff flock-like material, backed if necessary[to make it stiff enough to return to its normal shape after a gift is pushed into or out of its location, through the slot in it.
:*. . . The cover slides down over the skeleton, thus covering the intenor.
The cover has a cross cut through it diagonally at each alternate gift compartment, with a vertical cross cut to access each gift compartment between, to avoid tearing.
The head will be covered in the same material, with stuck on eyes and mouth made of felt.
The hat and nose made of moulded plastic is also stuck on.
