Bending.-Laminated wooden beams are built up to a desired curve by means of a series of supports B<3> adjustably bolted to base irons B<2> which are arranged on curved battens 16. The supports and bases are of spaced channel iron beams, and are provided with braces. 9. The. separate larminµ a after being glued are clamped by means of bolts 12 and clips 11, two sets being shown. More sets may be added, separated by distance pieces.
