Abstract
A kettle water discharge apparatus is provided comprising: a main body (fig.4,10); a thread (fig.4,13) disposed on the front end of the main body for connecting to a water outlet of a kettle; a water block (fig.4,11) integrated on the rear end of the main body along the water discharge direction; and a plurality of holes 12 distributed in the water block. A water adjusting cover 20 sleeved outside the water block is rotatable relative to the main body. A plurality of second holes 21 are disposed in the cover 20 such that it has the same number and distribution as first holes 12 of the water block (fig.4,11). Rotation of the water adjusting cover 20 causes the first holes 12 to either mismatch, or communicate and align with the second holes 21. A swing handle 22 disposed on the water adjusting cover 20 allows for rotation of the cover relative to the main body. The apparatus is particularly suited to adjusting the flow of water from a kettle. Closure of the apparatus may further stop sweating of steam from the nozzle during boiling of a kettle.

Field of the invention
[0001] The present invention relates to kettle, especially to a water discharge apparatus applied in kettle.
Background of the invention
[0002] The water outlet of kettle in conventional technique is usually a single open structure, or disposes a cover on the water outlet, the cover is covered when the water is boiled and will be opened when the water is used. However, said single open structure has such shortages: firstly, the steam generated by the boiled water will sweat from the water outlet, so the time for boiling water will be lengthened, the heat consumption will be relatively great, secondly there is only one predetermined quantity of water discharge whenever make tea\ make coffee or other uses, the quantity of water discharge can not be adjusted, it is known that different uses such as make tea or make coffee requires different quantity of water discharge so it will be difficult to meet the consumer's various needs; although the disposing of cover on the water outlet will solve the heat consumption when the water is boiled, the quantity of water discharge can not be adjusted in such single open structure.
Summary of the invention
[0003] The objective of the present invention is to overcome the shortages of the conventional technique wherein the quantity of the water discharge can not be adjusted, and to provide a water discharge apparatus applied in kettle.
[0004] The technical solution applied by the present invention is: [0005] A kettle, it comprises [0006] A main body, wherein, along water discharge direction, the front end of said main body is connected to water outlet of kettle, and a water block unit provided with a first hole unit is integrated on the rear end of said main body; [0007] A water quantity adjusting cover provided with a second hole unit is disposed on the rear end of said main body and is rotatable relative to said main body.
[0008] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a sealing ring is

disposed between said water quantity adjusting cover and said main body.
[0009] Further, said sealing ring is a silicone sealing ring.
[0010] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the rotation of said water quantity adjusting cover relative to said main body makes said first hole unit can completely overlap said second hole unit.
[0011] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the rotating of said water quantity adjusting cover relative to said main body makes said first hole unit completely mismatch with said second hole unit, and said water quantity cover will completely close said first hole unit.
[0012] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a swinging handle is disposed on said water quantity adjusting cover.
[0013] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the front end of said main body is fixed to the water outlet of kettle.
[0014] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the front end of said main body is detachably connected to the water outlet of kettle.
[0015] Further, the front end of said main body is threaded joint with the water outlet of kettle.
[0016] Further, the front end of said main body is snap-fit with the water outlet of kettle.
[0017] Referred from the above description of the present invention, compared to the conventional technique, the kettle of present invention has below advantages: [0018] Firstly, the present invention adjusts the quantity of water discharge by disposing a water quantity discharge cover on the main body, it can adjust the water quantity according to different needs for example as make tea or make coffee or make other drinks, it accomplishes an all in one design, it is a human-centered design and is convenient to be operated.
[0019] Secondly, the distribution of second hole unit is completely the same as first hole unit, so when the water quantity adjusting cover rotates relative to the main body with a certain angle, the first hole unit will completely communicate with the second hole unit, so the water discharge apparatus of the present invention will reach to a maximum quantity of water discharge; [0020] Thirdly, the first hole unit will completely mismatch the second hole unit after the water quantity adjusting cover rotate relative to the main body, the water quantity adjusting cover will completely close the first hole unit, so the boiling of water is speed up, the energy consumption during the boiling is reduced, it is more energy-saving, heat preservation and clean; [0021] Fourthly, a swinging handle is disposed on the water quantity adjusting cover, so it is more convenient to adjust the water quantity adjusting cover by rotating, it is more intimate and rather human-centered design; [0022] The front end of main body is fixed to the water outlet of kettle, it is undetachable, the connection is reliable, and it is convenient to use; [0023] The front end of main body is detachably connected to the water outlet of kettle, it is easy to detach and assemble and convenient in cleaning and maintenance, a single water discharge apparatus is adaptable in multiple kettles, and a single kettle is adaptable in multiple water discharge apparatus, the design is rather intimate.

Detailed description of the embodiments

[0029] Please refer to fig.1\ fig.2\ fig.3 and fig.4, the kettle of the present invention, comprising a main body 10, a thread 13 is disposed on the front end of said main body 10 along the water discharge direction for connecting the water outlet of kettle, a water block 11 is integrated on the rear end of said main body along the water discharge direction, a plurality of first hole units 12 are distributed on said water block 11.
[0030] A water quantity adjusting cover 20 is sleeved outside of the water block 11, said water quantity adjusting cover 20 can rotate relative to the main body 10, a plurality of second hole units 21 are disposed on said water quantity adjusting cover 20 which has the same number and distribution as the first hole units 12 of the water block 11, so when the water rotate with a certain angle relative to the main body 10, the first hole units 12 will completely conmiunicate with the second hole units 21, further, when the water quantity adjusting cover rotate with a certain angle relative to the main body 10, the first hole units 12 will completely mismatch the second hole units 21 too, so the water quantity adjusting cover 20 will completely close the first hole units 12.
[00311 A swinging handle 20 is disposed on the water quantity adjusting cover 20, so it is convenient to rotate the water quantity adjusting cover 20; a silicone sealing ring 30 is disposed between the water quantity adjusting cover 20 and main body 10 for sealing water.
[0032] When operates the water discharge apparatus of the present invention, firstly rotate the swinging handle 22 by hand to drive the water quantity adjusting cover 20 to rotate clockwisely or counter-clockwisely, when the water is boiled, rotate the water quantity adjusting cover 20 to make the first hole units 12 completely mismatch the second hole units 21, that is, the water quantity adjusting cover 20 will completely close the first hole units 12, so the boiling of water is speed up, the energy can be saved; when a small quantity of water is needed, firstly rotate the water quantity adjusting cover 20, then the first hole units 12 will slightly communicate with the second hole units 21; when a medium quantity of water is needed, firstly rotate the water quantity adjusting cover 20, then the first hole units 12 will mostly communicate with the second hole units 21; when a large quantity of water is needed, firstly rotate the water quantity adjusting cover 20, then the first hole units 12 will completely communicate with the second hole units 21.
[0033] When it needs to clean the kettle of the present invention, it only needs to swing the thread 13 of the front end of main body 10 from the water outlet of the kettle, the cleansing is greatly convenient.
[0034] Besides, the kettle of the present invention can also be applied in an ordinary electric kettle by electrical heating, or applied in kettles which are heated by open fire such as coal gas\ firewood\ boiler, or applied in kettles which only used for containing hot watei or any other kinds of kettles.
[0035] Although the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof for carrying out the invention, it is apparent to those skilled in the art that a variety of modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention which is intended to be defined by the appended claims.
Claims (11)
- Claims 1. A kettle comprising a main body, wherein along a water discharge direction, the front end of said main body is connected to a water outlet of the kettle and a water block unit provided with a first hole unit is integrated on the rear end of said main body; a water quantity adjusting cover provided with a second hole unit which is disposed on the rear end of said main body and is rotatable relative to said main body.
- 2. The kettle according to claim 1 characterized in that a sealing ring is disposed between said water quantity adjusting cover and said main body.
- 3. The kettle according to claim 2 characterized in that said sealing ring is a silicone sealing ring.
- 4. The kettle according to any preceding claim characterized in that the rotation of said water quantity adjusting cover relative to said main body makes said first hole unit completely overlap said second hole unit.
- 5. The kettle according to claim 1 or 4 characterized in that the rotation of said water quantity adjusting cover relative to said main body makes said first hole unit completely mismatch with said second hole unit, and said water quantity cover completely closes said first hole unit.
- 6. The kettle according to any preceding claim characterized in that a swinging handle is disposed on said water quantity adjusting cover.
- 7. The kettle according to any preceding claim characterized in that the front end of said main body is fixed to the water outlet of the kettle.
- 8. The kettle according to any preceding claim characterized in that the front end of said main body is detachably connected to the water outlet of the kettle.
- 9. The kettle according to claim 8 characterized in that the front end of said main body is threadedly connected to the water outlet of the kettle.
- 10. The kettle according to claim 8 characterized in that the front end of said main body is snap-fit with the water outlet of the kettle.
- 11. A kettle substantially as hereinbefore defined with reference to the accompanying Figures.
