Abstract

A disposable pillow case is scented with various aromas to help aid a restful night's sleep and made specifically with materials that are low in static and dust and free from dust mites and bed mites and allergic properties. The pillow case may use elastic straps or additional means to secure the pillow case to the pillow. The pillow case comes in various colours with designs and patterns to match the particular scent, eg a strawberry scented pillow scent case being coloured red.

Description

Pillow Scent Case This invention relates to a Pillowcase of the type which is commonly used as removable covers for pillows.

Pillowcases are well known but apart from covering the pillow offer no other specific function, so my invention provides a pillowcase with the means to help aid sleep.

Accordingly, this invention provides a disposable Pillowcase a scented aroma to help aid sleep.

Preferably the Pillowcase may be made from cotton, wool, fabric, a synthetic material, elastic, paper, paper tissue, silk or any of these materials combined.

As shown in figure lIthe Pillow Scent case sleeve 1 with one opening 2 to allow a pillow to be placed inside with the Pillow Scent case incorporating two sides to cover both sides of the pillow.

Figure 2 show's how a pillow 3 will look when placed inside of a Pillow Scent case sleeve 1 with the pillow 3 being completely covered.

As shown in figure 3 the Pillow Scent case sleeve 1 with internal fold 4 will have one opening 2 to allow a pillow to be placed inside with the Pillow Scent case incorporating two sides to cover both sides of the pillow.

Figure 4 show's the Pillow Scent case sleeve 1 with internal fold 4 with a pillow 3 placed inside secured in place under internal fold 4.

As shown in figure 5 the Pillow Scent case 1 with folded flaps 5 one either side of bottom of the Pillow Scent case opening 2.

Figure 6 show's the Pillow Scent case 1 with folded flaps 5 with the pillow 3 secured inside each folded flap 5.

As shown in figure 7 the Pillow Scent case 1 with one opening 2 with elastic rim 6 to allow a pillow to be placed inside with the Pillow Scent case incorporating two sides to cover both sides of the pillow.

Figure 8 show's the Pillow Scent case 1 with elastic rim 6 with a pillow 3 placed inside being completely covered and secured by the elastic rim 6.

The Pillow Scent case 1 will be made to cover at least one side of a pillow 3 and will come scented with various aromas to help aid a peaceful night's sleep. Pillow Scent cases 1 will also be disposable and may be made specifically from materials that are low in static and dust and free from dust mites and bed mites and allergic properties. Pillow Scent cases 1 maybe sold in packs of 20 but the number may be with out limitation.

A Pillow Scent case 1 may also use elastic straps to secure the Pillow Scent case 1 to a pillow 3, or use additional mean to secure the Pillow Scent case 1 to the pillow 3. The Pillow Scent case 1 may also with out limitation come in various colours with designs and patterns and the scent of the Pillow Scent case 1 may also match the colour and design of the scent with a strawberry scented Pillow Scent case 1 being coloured red.

Breathing in various scents may help cause relaxation, drowsiness or help clear sinuses and may be suited to either adults or children. Pillow scent cases 1 may with out limitation also be textured to various degrees, from soft to firm or from silky to smooth. The Pillow Scent case 1 maybe used commonly at home from day to day or when on travel. A Pillow Scent case I may be left on a pillow 3 for days or weeks or months and then disposed.

Claims

CLAIMS1. A disposable Pillow case with scented case to help aid sleep.
2. The disposable Pillow case according to claim 1 will be made from cotton, wool, fabric, a synthetic material, elastic, paper, paper tissue, silk or any of these materials combined.
3. The disposable Pillow case according to claims 1 and 2 will be made to cover at least one side of a pillow.
4. The disposable Pillow case according to claims 1, 2 and 3 will be made to incorporate with out limitation either the case itself or folds or flaps or an elastic rim or straps to secure the case to the pillow.
5. The disposable Pillow case according to claims 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be sold in packs of 20 but the number maybe without limitation.
6. Disposable Pillow cases according to claims 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 may be scented with a variety of aromas to help aid sleep and with out limitation cause relaxation, drowsiness and clear sinuses.
7. The disposable Pillow case according to claims 1, 2, 3,4, 5 and 6 maybe made specifically from materials that are low in static and dust and free from dust mites and bed mites and allergic properties.
8. The disposable Pillow case according to claims 1,2, 3,4, 5, 6 and 7 will be sold commercially.
9. The disposable Pillow case according to claims 1 through to 8 may with out limitation be made in various colours and designs that reflect the scent of the pillow case.
10. The disposable Pillow case according to claims 1 through to 9 may with out limitation be made in variable textures.
11. The disposable Pillow case according to claims 1 through to 10 may be commonly used at home or taken when travelling.
12. The disposable Pillow case according to claims 1 through to 11 may with out limitation have scents to suit both adults and children and males and females.
13. The disposable Pillow case according to claims 1 through to 12 will be left on a pillow for days or weeks but may be left on longer before being disposed.
14. The disposable Pillow case substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
