Abstract

Toilet tissue produced as a paper mitten that allows a hand to be inserted. The toilet tissue mittens are preferably formed from 2, 3 or 4 ply tissue sheets that are sealed alone three sides. The mitten may be dispensed as a single unit or joined together to form a conventional toilet roll. The perforations of a conventional toilet roll from the openings of the mitten. Description of Invention

Title: Tissue/toilet paper mitten DescriptjQn: Tissue/toilet paper mittens that are manufactured on a standard size toilet roll to fit standard toilet roll holders. Instead of the regular 2, 3 or 4 ply joined tissue sheets, these sheets will be sealed on three sides with the opening perforation that allows a hand to fit inside as a mitten.

Benefits: This invention would benefit not only young children learning to care for their own after toilet use cleaning needs, but would benefit people with restrictions or disabilities to enable these ones greater dignity as these tissue/toilet paper mittens grant a higher level of independence whilst maintaining hygiene.

We would foresee this invention being beneficially within nursery/pre-school settings, child minders, infant, junior and primary schools, nursing homes, hospitals, and households.

The nature of this invention is so simple and yet makes the job of teaching little ones how to wipe themselves clean with minimum mess, being as hygienic as possible. Although most people teach their little ones to wash their hands after using the toilet, many within nurseries, schools and hospitals do not. By using these toilet paper mittens, you are cutting down on the transference of disease in the event that someone forgets to wash their hands as the mitten provides a sealed mitten unit with which to wipe yourself clean.

This invention is environmentally friendly too as less of these mittens would be required per use of the toilet as they are in individual mittens, this eliminates little ones using C L_... � -1, 1 � .-masses oi iie u LOIICL uiiiu.Souiiy.

As previously mentioned, this benefits not only the young but any age where it has become difficult to care for the cleaning of themselves after a toilet visit.

A standard toilet roll can have 2 or 3 ply tissue paper, we would envisage these mittens to have at least 3 if not 4 ply to ensure maximum strength but still cutting down on the overall tissue paper usage.

At a time where we are all cutting down on our environmental impact, this provides an answer to saving time and money not only in the home, but in medical time and costs incurred each year through the lack of hygiene after toilet use.

Although our drawings indicate precise dimensions, our patent would cover all standard sized toilet rolls to fit household holders and public toilet, toilet roll dispensers that dispense individual sheets or in our case individua! mittens.

Claims (4)

1. CLAIMS1. A tissue paper mitten for personal hygienic uses comprising of a standard sized toilet roll comprising of perforated mittens on a roll with each mitten being sealed along three sides therefore making the mitten or glove with which to wipe oneself and being perforated along the open edge.
2. 2. In line with claim 1 the mittens could also be dispensed from an industrial or heavier use tissue dispenser as single mittens.
3. 3. As in claim 1 the mittens or toilet paper, tissue gloves will be dispensed using a standard toilet roll and our claim is in line with the idea of the enclosed mitten or glove with which to use for hygienic purposes.
4. 4. Following on from claim 3 we also envisage the mittens being medicated or made containing aloe vera or other antiseptic or emollient properties including manuka honey or ingredients for use within the health sector and other non-residential uses.
