Description
SUNSHADE CANOPY HANG[NG STRUCTURE OF A STROLLER
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the invention
The present invention relates to a sunshade canopy hanging structure of a stroller, more particularly one, which includes a frame, two fixing components secured on the frame, two first joining components joined to the fixing components, an inverted U-shaped canopy support fixedly joined at two ends thereof on the first joining components, two second joining components pivoted on the first joining components, and a movable canopy support joined to the second joining components; thus, the sunshade canopy can be easily adjusted in position.
2. Brief Description of the Prior Art
Shown in Fig. 8 is a currently existing stroller with a sunshade in its stretched position. The sunshade is joined on a frame 4 of the stroller, and includes a rear supporting rod 5, a front elastic rod 6, and a canopy 7, which is positioned between and joined to the rear supporting rod 5 and the front elastic rod 6. Furthermore, a control device 8 is fitted on the stroller frame 4, which can be operated to move the front elastic rod 6 close to the rear support rod 5 so as to fold the sunshade. The control device 8 is equipped with a fixing mechanism 81, which is used to fix the control device 8 so as to maintain the bent shape of the front elastic rod 6 after the front elastic rod 6 has been adjusted to a new position.
Therefore, the sunshade can be moved between a stretched in-use position and a folded no-in-use one.
However, the above sunshade is found to have a drawback: the front elastic rod is in a bent state most of the time, and therefore can become elasticity-fatigued after having been used for a certain length of time. Consequently, the position of the sunshade can't be adjusted according to the user's need. In other words, such a sunshade of a stroller isn't convenient to use.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
It is a main object of the present invention to provide an improvement on a sunshade canopy hanging structure of a stroller to overcome the above problems.
A sunshade canopy hanging structure in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes fixing components secured on a stroller frame, and a sunshade canopy support, which is coupled at two ends thereof to the fixing components by means of fastening members. Each of the fixing components has a detainment hole while each of the fastening members has a spring-biased fixing hooked part pivoted thereon, which has a detainment protrusion. Each of the fixing components has a receiving hole, and the fastening members are inserted in the receiving holes respectively, with the detainment protrusions of the fixing hooked parts being detained in corresponding said detainment holes of the fixing components. Two first joining components are joined on the fastening members respectively; each first joining component has a toothed side. And, two second joining components are each joined on and engaged with a respective said first joining component. Each second joining component is biased to be closely in contact with a corresponding first joining component by means of an elastic element.
Furthermore, a movable canopy support is joined at two ends thereof to the second joining components, and therefore can be adjusted in position by turning the second joining components relative to the first joining components.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Referring to Fig. 1 to Fig. 3, a preferred embodiment of a sunshade canopy hanging structure of a stroller of the present invention consists of a stroller frame 1, several fixing components 2, and a sunshade canopy support 3.
The stroller frame 1 has several wheels 11 joined on a bottom, and has two handles 12 joined on a top thereof.
The fixing components 2 are fixedly joined on the stroller frame 1.
Each of the fixing components 2 has threaded fixing elements 21 on two ends thereof, and is fixed to the stroller frame 1 by means of the threaded fixing elements 21. Each of the fixing components 2 has a receiving hole 22 extending from a first side to a second side facing in an opposite direction to the first side. Each of the fixing components 2 has a detainment hole 23 on an upper side, which is in open communication with the receiving hole 22.
The canopy support 3 is inverted U-shaped, and has a fastening member 31 fixed on each of two ends thereof; each said fastening member 31 has a fixing hooked part 32 pivoted thereon; each said fixing hooked part 32 has a detainment protrusion 321. Each said fixing hooked part 32 has a stopping edge 322 on the other side, and a stopping plate part 323 sticking from a bottom thereof. Each said fastening member 31 has a stopping part 311 to cooperate with a corresponding said stopping edge 322 so as to prevent the fixing hooked part 32 from turning excessively. Each said fixing hooked part 32 is subjected to the elastic force of an elastic element 312, which is positioned between the stopping plate part 323 and the fastening member 31, so that the detainment protrusions 321 of the fixing hooked parts 32 are kept in the detainment holes 23 of the fixing components 2, as shown in Figs. 4 and 5. The fastening members 31 are each joined to a respective one of the fixing component 2 by means of inserting the fastening members 31 in the receiving holes 22 so that the detainment protrusions 321 of the fixing hooked parts 32 are detained in the detainment holes 23.
A first joining component 33 is formed on a lower end of each said fastening member 31. And, a second joining component 34 is positioned next to and pivoted on each said first joining component 33 so that the second joining component 34 can be turned relative to the first joining component 33. Each said first joining component 33 has a toothed side 331 with raised and recessed portions while each said second joining component 34 has a toothed side 341 with raised and recessed portions, which faces and normally engages the toothed side 331 of a corresponding said first joining component 33; an elastic element 342 is joined to each said second joining component 34 to ensure close contact between said first and second joining components 33 and 34; the second joining components 34 can be turned relative to the first joining components 33 after they are slight moved away from the first joining components 33, with the elastic elements 342 being compressed. An inverted U-shaped movable support 35 is joined at two ends thereof to the second joining components 34, and therefore can be pivoted relative to the first joining components 33 between a forwards-sticking in-use position (Fig. 1) and an upwards-sticking not-in-use position.
In assembly, referring to Fig. 1 to Fig. 5, first the fixing components 2 are fixed on the stroller frame 1 by means of the threaded fixing elements 21, and the fastening members 31 are each inserted in the receiving hole 22 of a respective said fixing components 2 so that the detainment protrusions 321 of the fixing hooked parts 32 are forced to move into and stay in the detainment holes 23 of the fixing components 2 by means of the elastic elements 312. Thus, the canopy support 3 is coupled to the stroller frame 1 with the fixing components 2 and the fastening members 31. Next, the second joining components 34 are joined to the first joining components 33 respectively, and the movable support 35 is joined to the second joining components 34 at two ends; thus, the movable support 35 is pivoted on the stroller frame 1.
In use, referring to Fig. 1 and 4 to 7, the second joining components 34 are turned relative to the first joining components 33 to change the position of a sunshade canopy supported on the movable support 35; when the raised portions of the toothed side 341 of the second joining components 34 face the raised portions of the toothed side 331 of the first joining components 33, the elastic elements 342 will be compressed; when the raised portions of the toothed side 341 of the second joining components 34 face the recessed portions of the toothed side 331 of the first joining components 33, the second joining components 34 will be fixed in position with the elastic elements 342 stretching to make the second joining components 34 come into close contact with the first joining components 33; thus, the movable support of the sunshade canopy is fixed in position.
From the above description, it can be seen that the present invention has the following advantages: 1. The stroller frame of the present inventi?n has several fixing components fixed thereon, and the canopy support with the movable support can be easily joined to two chosen ones of the fixing components by means of inserting the fastening members into the receiving holes of the fixing components.
2. The movable canopy support is joined on the second joining components, and the second joining components are pivoted on respective ones of the first joining components. Therefore, the movable canopy support can be easily adjusted in its position or moved to the forwards-sticking in-use position.
3. The second joining components are subjected to the elastic force of the elastic elements, and therefore will be closely in contact with the corresponding first joining components so as to fix the movable canopy support after the movable canopy support has been adjusted in position.
