Abstract

The system, for conservatories, sun rooms, glass ceilings or ceilings where light will pass through, comprises two types of grippers, a pole gripper for wall attachment and a rose gripper for the centre of the ceiling. The pole gripper, Fig 2, comprises an outer tubular part 4 to host an inner tube 4 tightly with the end of a length of fabric 5 clamped between them. The rose gripper, Fig 11, comprises a half ring 8 for the other end of the fabric length 5 to be looped around it and clamped with a plate 7 tightened by screws. The system of gripping a number of fabric lengths will give a tented effect for a decorative purpose and shading benefit in conservatories &c.

Description

Title; Tented Ceiling
Background;
The Tented Ceiling system is a system to aid creating hanging curtainsfor ceilingsto give shade from theconservatory! Gassceiling/ ceilingof material that allowslight through, or adecorativeeffect to any room ceiling.
In the case of the conservatory it is an alternative to ceiling blinds, the system will give the capability of using any fabricto create curtainsfor ceiling, the advantage of the innovation isthe technique of gripping the fabric.
3atement of invention; To overcome the difficulties in hanging curtains on ceilings, the invention proposesthe use of two types of grippers designed to grip fabrics, Pole grippers (2) to be attached to the walls, and Pose Gipper (2)to befitted in the centre of the ceiling, or in some cases using pole grippers alone depending on the desire of the user.
The advantage of the Tented Ceiling system isthe ease of gripping and ungrippingthefabric, and the neatness of diaplaying the ceiling curtains, which the user can change easily.
Introduction to Drawings;
The deacription of the inventive grippers is illustrated in the drawings attached.
Hgure 1: Siows a section of a curtain gripped from two ends, one end on the pole gripper (2), and the other side on the Pose gripper (1).
Hgure 2: Siows the Pole gripper which consists of two parts, tube (3) and host (4).
Hgure 3: Siows the host which is one part of the pole gripper, the functionality isto grip tight the tube, so the fabricwill be damped between the tube and the host.
Hgure 4: Siow the Tube which is one part of the two parts of the pole gripper.
Hgure 5: Siow the cross section of the host part of the pole gripper.
Hgure 6: Demonstratesthe fabric (5) wrapped around the Tube, with one end of the fabric ready to be hosted on the host (4) Hgure 7: Siowing the pole gripper damping thefabric between the tube and host.
Hgure8: Siowsthe Pose gripper (1)from a plane view.
Hgure9: Siowsthe Pose gripper (1)from the bottom.
Hgure 10: Siows the Pose Gipper with the fabric damped to one section of the Pose gripper damps.
Hgure 11: Siowsthe Pose gripper consisting of the parts Rng (8), damp (7) (part of one of four damps), the lips (6) will host the acrews for attaching the rose on any ceiling, the fabric ready to be damped in one of the Pose gripper damps.
Rgurel2: Demonstratesthe fabric (5) to form one section of acurtain, attached from both ends, the pole gripper (2) at one end and the Pose gripper (1) at the other end. Qaims
