Abstract

A vehicle marker lamp comprises a marker member and a source such as LED 30, located inside a light transmitter 20, and a power supplying component 50. The marker emblem may be a three-dimensional moulded structure or a plate like structure and can be metal, ceramic, plastics, or acrylic, depending on the required texture. The light transmitter 20 may be a shape that corresponds to the marker symbol, may be concaved and sealed underneath by a seat 40. The lamp 30 may be coloured and the transmitter 20 can be a tinted color. The marker lamp may also include a battery chamber and an IC controller.

Description

VEHICULAR MARKER LAMP
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
(a) Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a vehicular marker lamp, and more particularly to a vehicular marker lamp which is provided with an illuminating effect, so as to make a brand prominent at a night or when light is weaker.
(b) Description of the Prior Art
Most of existing products which are greatly praised by general public have already their own brand markers. Especially for a vehicle (an automobile or a motorcycle), a product with a quality brand can be a guarantee that the product has a superior feature. Therefore, in terms of automobiles, the marker is a soul of the brand and has an unshakable position for many cars among the world famous brands, like Benz, BWM, Audi, or Ferrari.
Although "the marker is the soul of the brand," a marker of an ordinary car is not provided with a special design, and is often a piece of planar or three-dimensional carven object or an enchased plate. In spite that there is a font design, most of the markers can only manifest a flavor of products in a place with sufficient light and good visibility. When daylight is weaker (e.g., at a night or in an underground parking lot), or distance is farther, a function of the product which can be manifested by the ordinary marker will be very limited, and this is a shortcoming of the existing marker.
On the other hand, when the marker itself is not fancy enough, it will not be able to attract more attention by general public, and this is resulted by that the function of marker is not sharp enough. Therefore, if a better vehicular marker lamp can be designed, then the existing brand can even set off a quality of the product, and the marker itself can attract more attention. Unfortunately, no such product has been designed yet in a present day, because this kind of design should be able to fit with all kinds of brands, and hence requiring a comprehensive consideration and an ingenious structure.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of present invention is to provide a vehicular marker lamp including a marker member, below which is provided with a light transmittable unit. An interior of the light transmittable unit is provided with light source units which are connected to a power supply unit. Therefore, when power is on, light can be transmitted from the light transmittable unit and projected on a surface of the marker member to reveal a sparkling effect, and in particular, to be provided with a manner of elegance and poise. More specifically, in a time or at a place without sufficient light, a noble style of the product can be displayed, thereby improving the praise of the quality brand.
To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
FIG. 1 shows an exploded view of the present invention.
FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the present invention.
FIG. 3 shows a cutaway view of the present invention.
FIG. 4 shows a schematic view of a different embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 5 shows a schematic view of implementing an embodiment of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Referring to FIGS. I to 3, a vehicular marker lamp of the present invention comprises at least a marker member 10 which can be a three-dimensional molded structure or a plate-type marker, depending on each brand. To further clearly disclose the present invention, the drawings of the present invention show all kinds of markers of existing well-known automobile brands, as examples. The marker member 10 can be a metal, a plastic (acrylic), or a ceramic material, depending on its texture.
A light transmiftable unit 20 is at least made by a translucent material, and is a block of any shape, like a circle, an oval, a square, a polygon, an irregular cloud, or a geometric shape, etc. However, when the marker member 10 is a hollow plate structure, for example, radial rods in a circular frame of a Benz, a BMW text in a circular frame of a BMW, or an L-like structure in a circular frame of a Toyota Lexus, the light transmittable unit 20 can be also formed with a corresponding structure of an equivalent or similar shape. An interior of the light transmittable unit 20 can be provided with a holding space 21 which is disposed with at least one light source unit 30, preferably an LED light pipe, or a plurality of light source units 30, depending on requirement.
The light transmittable unit 20 can be a translucent object having a tint color, and the light source unit 30 can be a light source of different colors.
As shown in the drawings, the holding space 21 of the light transmittable unit 20 can be installed from bottom to top, or a hole can be disposed at a side.
The light transmittable unit 20 is provided with a power supply unit 50 in wires, to be inserted with a power source for providing electricity to the light source unit 30.
A bottom seat 40 is sealed below the light transmittable unit 20, preventing the interior light source unit 30 from dropping out.
Referring to FIG. 4, it shows a different structure of the present invention, wherein the marker member 10 and the light transmittable unit are changed a little, but with the technological factors remaining unchanged.
Accordingly, in using the present invention, as shown in FIG. 5, light can be transmitted out from the interior of the light transmittable unit 20, allowing the light (or colored light) to be projected on a surface of the marker member 10, so as to further reveal a sparkling effect and a manner of elegance and poise, in particular. More specifically, in a time or at a place without sufficient light, a noble style of the product can be still displayed, thereby being provided with a glory that a praised brand should have.
On the other hand, although in FIG. 1, the light transmittable unit is below the marker member, it can be installed at a side of the marker member, and light can be projected toward the marker member by the light source unit, if needed.
As the design of the present invention is ingenious, the brand of the product can be further manifested in the time or at the place without sufficient light, upon implementation, which cannot be reached by the conventional marker. Therefore, the present invention is provided with advancement, and a value of commercial utilization. In addition, as the present invention has not yet been made public before filing for application, it is provided with novelty.
It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
