245,480. Hartley, W. W., and Cockill & Sons, Ltd., H. F. Sept. 3, 1924. Pivoted-blade type.-A machine for cutting belting has a bed-plate 6 with edge guide 9. A holder 11 for a blade 13 is actuated by a cranked handle 19, 18 connected by a link 16 to the holder. The latter is pivoted on a removable stud 10, secured in place by a screw 12. Long lengths of belting are inserted by removing the pivot 10. A knife guard may be fitted to the holder 11.
