Abstract

A flood barrier for a door comprising a panel with an adjustable braided rubber edging. The flood barrier has a series of threaded rods which are used to force the rubber edging into contact with the door frame and step creating a seal around the edge of the barrier. The panel may be made from a lightweight material, for example aluminum.

Description

1 would like to explain to you how this device works.
It is easily assembled and placed in position, adjusted to maximum tightness so that water cannot get passed the braided rubber edging that is tight against the door walls and step. It is easily dismantled and stored. As I have shown, diagram I & 2, I have said it was subject to change. What I mean by this is that I may use lighter material i.e. such as strong aluminium but lighter to carry and easier to assemble. Hope that you understand what I am meaning, and if not please contact me by letter or phone..
