Abstract

The invention relates to a laundry basket comprising roller wheels 4, such that it may be pulled along the floor, and sledge type rails 1, such that it may be slid up stairs5. A handle 2 is provided for pulling and sliding the basket. The basket may be moulded in one piece baring the roller wheel 4 which is added separately.

Description

PULL AND PULL SLIDE BASKET
This invention is an easy way to help people in thier day to day lives with thier laundry.
This invention makes it easier to get your laundry upstairs and down stairs without struggling and less stress on the back.
The pull and slide basket allows people to simply move laundry around on ground level because of its roller wheel which is situated at the bottom rear of the basket to allow easy movement for pulling it around.
The handles are apart of the basket which are rounded and are comfortable to grip onto when pulling around or pulling up the stairs and also for when you are walking downstairs, just hold onto the basket handle and it will slide down beside you.
This invention is simple to see how it works.
It is made from a hard wearing plastic and is made using only one piece apart from the roller wheel.
It has handles at the top and the main part is the two sledge type railings on the front of the basket and we have added a roller wheel to the bottom rear for easy movement around the home.
The sledge type railings situated on the front of the basket (number 1 on page 1/10) are rounded and apart of the moulded piece.
The sledge type rails reduce the friction between the basket and the stairs which Makes it easier and lighter to pull up and down the stairs.
All you simply do to use this invention is load your laundry into the top of the basket, grasp the handle at the top and then tilt back slightly and pull along making it simple because of the roller wheel at bottom rear of the basket (as seen 9/10 drawings) When you come to the stairs all you simply do is turn the basket around, then hold onto the handle and pull it up the stairs. This will slide easily because of the sledge type railings(as seen on page 10/10 drawings) The pull and slide basket is made from hard wearing plastic just as one mould then adding the roller wheel when the basket has been made and finished(as seen on page 2/10 drawings).

Claims (2)

  1. i Of our invention the sledge type rails on the front of basket (as seen on page 1/10 drawings) are the main feature that we wish to protect most as without these railings it would not move up and down as smoothly or efficiently without them.
    The sledge type rails also cause less friction between basket and the stairs. We also want to protect the whole concept of the sledge basket overall.
  2. 2 A roller wheel at the bottom of the basket for easy pull along.
