Abstract
A personal circular helicopter for domestic use is about the size of a small family car and can be parked in a back garden or on a roof. The helicopter has a pair of contra-rotating impellers each having eg fifteen tapered rocking impeller blades. Gyro stabilisation, GPS guidance and collision avoidance radar may be provided. The helicopter may have a thermonuclear fusion - electric power unit.

Description
There is nothing new in this design of a personal helicopter the blades are rocked as they turn to provide lift (this is a proven design by Skykorski) and propulsion they rotate in opposite directions thus preventing the need for a fin or stabilising rotor, the craft is rotated by turning the differential that separates the two impellers.
The taper is so that the width is inversely proportional to the velocity at that point, the tip and the wide end are both mounted on rings so that the blade rocks on a bearing going through the blade. I suppose the mechanism to rock the blades would be two rings on the inside that have pins connecting each side of the blade, the leading edge pin connected to a bearing in the upper ring and the trailing edge connecting to the lower ring.
The two rings are mounted so that they rotate with the blade they rock by the control of a central pin that pulls the upper ring am an angle away from horizontal and the lower ring in the opposite direction. By altering the angle of the direction of the wedge the thrust can be in any direction, this will also tip the craft to one side away from horizontal, this should be under the control of a gyro table reference feedback control system the auto pilot providing the reference signal. To provide stability a gyro platform reference is needed and a feedback control system top the craft uptight. The people in the cabin do not fly the craft they just dial m where they want to go.
It should be guided by GPS and dialling in the destination, with a collision avoidance radar. The flight path should be low, just over the rooftops and controlled by a central routing agency.
The cabin should be nice and comfortable for watching the scenery and equipped with nice seats, air conditioning radio, TV and telephone.
It should be made about the size of a small family car for domestic use.
Nice and useful for the next century.
Power: unit thermonuclear fusion-electric.
The height diameter ratio should be as low as possible to make it a flat, sleek design. Ii would make a nice thing to have parked in the back garden or roof landing pad.
