Abstract

A panel wall structure (1) includes upper (2a) and lower (2b) guide rails to support at least one panel (1a, 1b, 1c), which can slide horizontally along these. A privoting arrangement allows that said panel (1a, 1b, 1c) can perform a pivoting motion about its trailing edge (10, 12, 14) at a frame side (4a) of said panel wall structure. The panel wall structure further comprises locking members in order to lock the leading edge (11) of a first (1a) of said panels against a receiving bar (12, 4b) in order to establish a closed and locked wall of panels (1a, 1b, 1c), wherein according to the invention a gap is provided between the first panel (1a) and the frame side (4a). When the panel wall is closed and locked the first panel abuts the receiving bar (12, 4b). By leading the first panel in the direction of the first frame, side using the free space which the gap provides, along the guide rails, engaging members (5a) that lock the first panel laterally can be released so that the panel can be opened and pivoted.
