DESCRIPTION

CLIP ON FOREFINGER STEADIER FOR SURGICAL HANDLE

The Clip on Forefinger Steadier for Surgical Handle builds upon the uniqnesS of my previous previous patent application (nmber 0405251.0). A feature in the uniqneSS of my design of of the clip on forefmger steadier is its comfort during usage. When the surgeons operate with their surgical gloves on thay are smeared with blood which is a slippery substance when dissecting the epidermis and soft muscle tissue, the forefinger could slip of the surgical handle, my method is to avoid that so that the forefinger is sterdy and rest in the forefinger steadier.

There are two variations to my design of the clip on forefinger steadier. Surgeons use different kinds and different sizes of surgical handles so thay feel comfortable with them as surgical handles have been around for a long thne. I myself at one time being a theatre nurs and dealt with many kinds of surgical jntrumefltS and observed as I had to know each and every single surgical instrument to send them down for autoclaving, steralizing. This also gave me insight to design this clip on forefinger steadier. Two variations incorporated into the design are the oval clip on forefinger steadier and the spoonville clip on forefinger steadier. The oval clip on forefinger steadier is adjustable when finger is in.erted while clipped on to the surgical handle.

The spoonvil clip on forefinger steadier is pivoted throo the top to the clip on underneath that clips onto the surgical handle to make it secure. The design is illustrated in the three sheets of diagrams. The forefinger steadier can be moulded out of disposable surgical plastic besides surgical stainlesS steel.

Figure 1 shows how the finger fits into the clip on forefinger steadier for surgical handle, while resting on the surgical handle. Figure 2 shows the side view of the oval adjustable clip on forefinger steadier when clipped onto the surgical handle. Figure 3 ShOWS the view from above of the oval adjustable clip on forefinger steadier for surgical handle when clipped onto the surgical handle. Figure 4 ShOWS the side view of the oval clip on forefinger steadier.
