Abstract

A sterilizing or moisturising fluid or gas can be secreted over the reusable razor blade surface. This is achieved by propelling the fluid from a reservoir (fig 1), via the base or stand (fig 4), and a grip or handle (fig 2), which contains a thin capillary tube running through its centre along its length. The fluid is propelled from a pneumatically charged aerosol or secreted by hydraulic pump motion dispenser. The razor's handle clicks into place and has a push down release mechanism to create a water or air tight seal between the handle and the base when it is returned after use (fig 2 and fig 4). Fluid from the reservoir (fig 1) is then secreted over the canalled disposable blade assembly head (fig 3). The sterilising fluid kills bacteria and germs.

Description

Patent Application: -Product Description

THE CONCEPT: Title: Qec: GT-sR:l -Sten Shave The purpose of this invention is to improve the personal hygiene and extend the blade life of disposable razor. Watching television adds about spot creams and poor complexion I often looked for a simple solution to increase personal hygiene while partaking in the daily task of shaving. There was no such solution hence the new concept in shaving I have come up with.

The new innovate part of the razor is the means of secreting a (sterilizing/moisturising) fluid/gas over the razor blade surface killing any bacteria or germs after and before reuse of the razor. This is achieved by propelling a (steriliing/moisturizing) fluid/gas from the reservoir, (figi) be it pneumatically charged (aerosol) or secreted by hydraulic pump motion (pump dispenser).via a specially made grip/handle unit, (fig2) which contains a capillary type (thin) tube running through its centre along its length.

This will convey the fluid from the reservoir, (fig!) by means of either of the above mentioned processes; secreting the fluid/gas over the specially manufactured disposable blade assembly head to aide secretion (fig3). The disposable blade head will have specially adapted canals to aid the secretion process. See diagrams land 2, fig's I though fig5

Claims (1)

  1.
Claims: To eradicate the razor blade of all bacteria and germs prior
to, and after shaving at the user's discretion.

Extended blade life and number of shaves achieved before the blade becomes sufficiently dull thus discarding it, by cleansing it of germs and bacteria.

Eradicate the risk of skin bacterial infections by dragging an infected blade over the skin Increase personal hygiene.

Convey the sterilizing/moisturizing fluid/gas from the reservoir/container via the capillary tube base and handle mechanism. (figi, fig2 fig4) Evenly secrete the said substance fluid/gas via the base and handle to the razor blade head, (lig3).

Refill reservoir bottle pump dispenser or aerosol reservoir, (fig!) Modified canalled disposable razor head to aide fluid/gas application, (fig3).

The stand and drip tray is also equipped with capillazy tube to convey the sterilizing material from the reservoir to the handle, (fig4, fig5) Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows Claims 1. A wet shave disposable razor mounted on a stand in such a way to allow a liquid or gas in a replaceable reservoir mounted on the stand to be supplied to the razor head via tubes in the stand and razor handle comprising of four main pads, a disposable razorbiade head, a handle concealing a thin capillary type tube running through it along its length to convey a sterilising fluid/gas to the blade head, a chassis or base unit with a removable drip tray, also equipped with a capillary tube to transport sterilising fluid/gas from the independent replaceable hydraulic pump or pneumatic aerosol dispenser, to the mounted/removable handle, and a replaceable reservoir, aerosol or pump dispensing bottle, all of which are seated snugly in the base unit/chassis.

2. Wet shave equipment according to claim 1, including, a disposable razor blade head with open canals allowing access to the rear ot the blade to aid secretion of said substance. S... * . I.

3. Wet shave equipment according to claims 1 or 2, including, a handle * * unit which is equipped with a thin capillary type tube to convey the said * substances through it along its length to the razor blade head, the said handle is seated/clicked snugly in the base unit to create a seal between the two joining tubes, handle and chassis. I* * * S... * ... * S

4. Wet shave equipment according to claim 1 or 3, including, a base or chassis unit equipped with a thin capillary tube to convey the sterilizing fluid/gas from the mounted replaceable reservoir to the mounted/removable razor handle & blade head.

5. Wet shave equipment according to claim 1, including, a drip tray on chassis to catch excess fluid if any overspill occurs.

6. Wet shave equipment according to claims 1 or 4, including a replaceable sterilising fluid bottle/aerosol reservoir connected to the base/chassis.
