Abstract
Anti-slip flooring 100 comprises a flat plate 4 having a plurality of raised bodies 41 each having a further central protrusion 42, characterised by a smooth angle at the connection of the protrusion 42 with the raised body 41 and the body 41 with the flat plate 4, thus preventing the build-up of debris at these locations. The raised bodies and protrusions may be formed by casting; the plate, bodies and protrusions are preferably formed as one unit. The distance between the top of the protrusion and the bottom of the flat plate is preferably 4.5mm and that between the centre of each raised body is preferably 47mm. The diameter of each raised body is preferably 20mm.
Description
TITLE: ANTI-SLIPPING BOARD
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
(a) Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to anti-slipping board, and in particular, an anti-slipping board or the like having spaced-apart rows of floating bodies or protrusions.
(b) Description of the Prior Art
Anti-slipping board, as shown in FIGS. 1A & 1B, is commonly used in kitchen, toilet or factory site to avoid skidding while walking on the floor.
Conventional anti-sliding board, as shown in FIGS. 1A & lB is a flooring plate I provided with pointed wave-like threads 11. These threads 11 prevents slipping while walking on the floor. FIGS. 2A & 2B is another conventional anti-sliding board being a flooring plate 2 provided with cylindrical bodies 21 on the surface thereof The difference in height of the cylindrical bodies 21 and the surface of the flooring plate 2 provides the function of anti-slipping. However, the wave-like threads 11 and/or the cylindrical bodies 21 could not fully provide an anti-slipping effect. In addition, there are corners on the surface of the flooring plate which need to be cleaned all the time so as to clean away the collected dust.
FIG 3 is in conventional anti-slipping board disclosed in US Patent Application No. US200 1/0021435 Al. The surface of the board is provided with arch-shaped circular floating bodies 31, and the center of the floating bodies 31 is a rounded protrusion 32. However, the drawback of this structure is that the right-angled structure 311,321 between the floating body 31 and the protrusion 32, and the floating body 31 and the flat plate 3 will collect debris, which are difficult to clean.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide an antislipping board having a flat plate provided with a plurality of protruded rounded floating bodies, having a rounded protrusion at the center of each floating bodies, characterized in that the connection region of the protrusion and the floating body, and the connection region of the floating body with the flat plate are an arch-shaped structure with different arch angle to prevent the collection of debris.
Yet still another object of the present invention is to provide an antislipping board, wherein the distance between the top edge of the protrusion and the bottom edge of the flat plate is 4.5mm.
Still a further object of the present invention is to provide an antislipping board, wherein the distance between each of the center of the floating body is 47mm.
The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.
Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
The following descriptions are of exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention.
Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.
Referring to FIGS. 4,5 and 6, together with FIGS. 8,9, 10 and 11. The anti-slipping board has a flat plate 4 having a surface provided with a plurality of floating bodies 41 which are spaced apart. The top center of each of the floating bodies 41 is a circular, smaller diameter protrusion 42 to form into the anti-slipping plate 100. The connection region between the small protrusions 42 and the floating body 41 is an arch-shaped angle a, and the floating body 41 is provided with a second arch-shaped angle b. The floating body 41 adjacent to the flat plate 4 is a third arch-shaped angle c. The connection region between the floating body 41 and the flat plate 4 is another forth arch-shaped angle d such that when the anti-slipping plate 100 is placed on the floor, it provides the best function of the anti- slipping board. In addition, the connection regions of the protrusion 42, the floating body 41 and the flat plate 4 are respectively arch-shaped angle, a, b, c, d, therefore, debris will not be collected. In addition, this structure facilitates the cleaning of the anti-slipping board 100.
In accordance with the present invention, the anti-slipping board can be made from metallic material or ceramic material, and the floating bodies 41 and the protrusions 42 are formed by casting or formed as one unit.
The top edge of the protrusion 42 and the bottom edge of the flat plate 4 is X and is about 4.5mm. The distance Y between the center of each floating body 41 is 47mm, and the diameter of the floating body 41 is 20mm.
Referring to FIG 7, the floating body 41 can be formed as one unit such that the floating body 41 and the protrusion 42 and the flat plate 4 are formed on a thick block.
It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also fmd a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.
While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes iii the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
