Abstract

A scented vacuum cleaner filter which may be impregnated with oils. Air travelling through a vacuum cleaner leaves a vacuum bag and enters a filter where any remaining dust is removed and a fragrance such as lemon or juniper scents the air prior to exiting the vacuum cleaner. Preferably the filter is scented with a liquid or powdered fragrance which in use serves to fragrance the atmosphere.

Our scented vacuum cleaner filters will be made using already existing pattem for todays non-scented vacuum cleaner filters, the only difierence being that the material used will be impregi ted heavily with difierent scents.
The reason I say different scents is because we uropose to have a imgiance inure or around tour scents, these we thouczht couidbe popular essential oils, eg;frankincense.juniper,iemon and rosmary. These are just example:s, but with the ever rising popularity of essential oils and holistic, knowledge we thought this touch would increase' our products viability.
As you can see, air is sucked un by the vacuum cleaner and travels tiro. nt ae ba as usua. ht on ieccag the nag the epended air then traveis through the filter, a process that extracts any dust remaining in the air preveiting it from re- entering the atno sphere. But the problem ir that this so called clean air still still smells dust, so you might have a thee clean carpet but you also have a thusty dusty smei]irg. toom, I know we have noticed it, obviously, and. we have certainly heard others mention ii too, so I wonder ho else has also noticed it, maybe without realising.

  1. Claims: 1, A scented vacuum filter.
  2. 2, A scented vacuum cleaner filter according to claim 1, which is made either as a scent impregnated filter or as a non-scented vacuum cleaner filter with scented liquid or powder being used to create a scented vacuum cleaner filter.
