Abstract

A collapsible container for holding liquids, such as milk or juice, or fluent solids, such as breakfast cereals or washing powder, has side walls which allow the user to reduce the height of the container so as to eliminate the air gap created above the remaining contents after some have been dispensed. The side walls of the container may be elasticated. Use of the container would enable easier storage and final disposal.

In the market place there are a variety of different shapes, sizes of containers, cylinders that hold mass or fluid e.g. cereals, washing powder, juice, milk, etc. When the mass or fluid is emptied the container, cylinder etc is not reduced in size thus it can cause problems with disposing of the container, cylinder that contains the mass or fluid. It can also cause a storage problem e.g. when placed in a fridge or pantry etc. It is the aim of the fluid, mass container, cylinder eta to address the afore mentioned problems by allowing the person when emptying the contents of the mass or fluid to be able to reduce the size of the fluid, mass container, cylinder.
