Abstract

A small peel-off label already attached to the wine bottle at point of purchase which gives details of that wine and which may be removed and retained by the consumer for future reference.

Description

WINE STICKER
Relating to all bottled wines.
Asking around, I find that others seem to share my frustration when, having bought a bottle of wine and enjoyed it, one later cannot recall which particular wine it was.
More often than not the bottle has been disposed of, so one is unable to purchase that wine again.
The Wine Sticker would solve this problem. It would consist of a small peel-off label which would be attached to the bottle by the manufacturers or wholesalers. The label would give the details of the wine purchased. If the consumer enjoyed it they could peel it off and retain it somewhere to remind them of the name and enable them to buy further bottles.
The Wine Sticker would say something like: 'If you enjoyed this wine please peel off and retain this sticker for future reference'. It would then go on to give the basic details of the wine (and perhaps the bar code). Ideally it should echo the label as much as possible in colour and design, as this is helpful to the consumer. Obviously the sticker must be of the variety that can be easily stuck on and peeled away from a variety of surfaces. !

1. A small peel-off label already attached to the wine bottle at point of purchase which gives details of that wine and which can be removed and retained by the consumer for future reference.
