Abstract
The wheel is formed with a pair of half-frames 11,12, each having a centre section 111,121 and a ridge section 112,122. Each center section is formed with bosses 113,123 protruding outwardly or has decorations thereon. Each ridge section is used for a rubber tyre to extend closely around. Either each centre section 111,121 or ridge section 112,122 is formed with fasteners to secure the two half-frames together. The fasteners may be formed with buckles and buckle troughs, male flexible projections 114 insertable into female projections 124, or bolts 3 and nuts 4.
Description
TITLE: WHEEL WITH TWO HALF-FRAMES
Field of the Invention
This invention relates to the design of a vehicular wheel, more particular to the wheel being formed with two half-frame pieces.
Background of the Invention
A vehicle wheel is formed with ejection into one piece, which includes a wheel frame 91 and a tire 92 wrapping the frame 91, as shown in FIG. 5. The wheel frame 9l is formed in many ways, such as ejection, air blown type and gas-assisted injection type. The mold is strong enough, but the entire tire is too big in size and too heavy in weight. Other than that, the mold has an in-depth too deep, it makes the manufacturing procedure of the mold inconvenient. It also makes the carving difficult. Therefore, the product is too dull not attractive. The edge of the wheel frame of prior art is made of solid material, which wastes material and makes the weight too heavy.
In view of this, the inventor has invented the present invention to correct the above shortcomings.
Summary of the invention
It is the primary object of the present invention to provide a renovated wheel with two half-frames, which reduces the weight of the wheel fame.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a renovated wheel with two half-frames, which enables to carve decoration design thereon.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a renovated wheel with two half-frames, which saves labor.

Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiment
A wheel with two half-frames of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, comprises a wheel frame 1 being wrapped with a rubber tire 2. The wheel frame 1 is formed with a pair of half frames 11 and 12. Both the half-frames 11 and 12 comprise a center section 111, 121 and a ridge section 112, 122. The center sections 111 and 121 comprise bosses 113 and 123 extruding outwardly or are carved with decorations thereon, while the ridge sections 112 and 122 are for the rubber tire 2 to grab thereat. The center sections 111 and 121 are formed with fasteners corresponding to each other so that the two half-frames 11 and 12 may be secured together to form an entire wheel frame. The fasteners may be formed with buckles and buckle troughs, male popping pillars 114 and female popping pillars 124, or bolts 3 and nuts 4. The half-frame 11 further comprises a plurality of insertion ribs 115 for the other half-frame 12 to insert therein. The insertion ribs reinforce the connection of the two halfframes 11 and 12 after assembly.
A second embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a wheel frame 5 is wrapped with a rubber tire 6 integrally. The wheel frame 5 is formed with two pieces of half-frames 51 and 52. Both the halfframes 51 and 52 comprise a center section 511, 521 and a ridge section 512, 522. The center sections 511 and 521 comprise bosses 513 and 523 extruding outwardly or are carved with decorations thereon, while the ridge sections 512 and 522 are for the rubber tire 6 to grasp thereat. Both the center sections 511 and 521 and the ridge sections 512 and 522 comprise fasteners to secure the two half-frames 51 and 52 together. The fasteners may be formed with buckles and buckle troughs, male popping pillars 514 and female popping pillars 524, or bolts 7 and nuts 8. The 2s half-frame 51 also comprises a plurality of insertion ribs 5 for the other half-frame 52 to insert therein. The insertion ribs 515 reinforce the connection of the two half-frames 51 and 52 after assembly.
Claims (5)
- I CLAIM: 1. A wheel with two half-frames comprising an injection wheelframe being wrapped with a rubber tire, and the improvements comprising said wheel frame comprising two pieces of half-frames, each said half-frame comprising a center section and a ridge section, said center section having bosses extruding outwardly or being carved with decorations thereon, said ridge section being for said rubber tire to wrap thereon, either said center section or said ridge section comprising corresponding fasteners to secure said half-frames together to form an entire wheel frame.
- 2. The wheel frame with two half-frames, as recited in claim 1, wherein said fasteners are buckles and buckle troughs.
- 3. The wheel frame with two half-frames, as recited in claim 1, wherein said fasteners are popping pillars.
- 4. The wheel frame with two half-frames, as recited in claim 1, wherein said fasteners are bolts and nuts.
- 5. The wheel frame with two half-frames, as recited in claim 1, wherein said center section of one half-frame comprises insertion ribs to secure with the other half-frame, and said insertion ribs reinforce connection of said two half-frames.
