Abstract

An illuminated table [light box] or lamp which comprises means to produce variable illumination effects including electronic and digital technology to produce pixilated images held in a flat-surfaced base structure which is adapted to be free-standing on removable feet/legs and wall-mountable through a bracket hole. Further variation to the illumination effect can be introduced by covering the table with a variety of lids and enclosing a variety of items, for example colour filters or transparencies, between the table top and the lid. The table top may be covered in optical fibre elements.

Description

Description 239764
Range of Interchangeable Lamps/Tables The invention/design relates to a range of interchangeable lamps/tables that can change and display a variety of colours, images, patterns including images of natural elements, pixilated images, plastic fibre optic grass reeds to suit an individuals needs, moods, taste, decor. This comprises of a Pixel Pixilated, Plain/ Imaged/Patterned, a Circular Holed and a Grass/Reed fibre optic/light conducting plastic interchangeable lamp/table. They are interchangeable and can be used as wall or floor lamps or tables.
Lamps that can change colour, display images and illuminated tables are well known, such as commercial light boxes, fibre optic lamps and clear or coloured illuminated tables. It can be argued that these products are restricted to one purpose, mode or colour or are less flexible. This design provides a solution.
An object of these inventions/designs is to provide a flexible, space saving, flat surfaced range of interchangeable lamps which can change and display a variety of colours, patterns, images to achieve different effects of light to suit an individuals needs, mood, taste and decor, and can also change from wall to floor to free standing lamps to tables. They are interchangeable but are individual pieces in their own rights.
These lamps can change their colours, patterns, images with the use of coloured filters, prints or with electronic technology can provide colour/image/pattern fading, pixilated still/moving images, be touch/sound reactive and an aurora borealis effect.
Accordingly they can change their shape with lids, including lids with a range of different sized holes/apertures, an opal plain lid, a transparent lid, a pixel lid and a grass/reed lid which are made of four different designs and fit into four different bases, and with the inclusion of a set of optional/removable feet for use as floor lamps or tables and a wall bracket for use as wall lamps or free-standing lamps.
Preferably the lamps /tables are made of plastic material, but can also be made of wood, glass, metal or a combination of these materials.
Preferred embodiments of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: FIGIE 1, shows top and front view perspective of Pixel Pixilated Interchangeable

FIGURE 8albicidlelfiglh shows top and front view perspective of the four basic designs of the base lamp and lids. 2l
As shown in Figures 1 -8 the interchangeable lamps/tables comprise a base structure with curved or straight edges and optional/removable feet and a number of different lids. Within this base the lighting fixtures and fittings/electronics are situated underneath a shelf, which holds the lids where a combination of coloured filters/prints are placed. Colour/image/pattern change and lighting effects can also be achieved on all the lamps with electronic technology for colour/image/pattern fading, still/moving pixilated images/patterns, lighting effects including an aurora borealis effect, and sound/touch sensitive/interactive. The Pixel lamp/table can be programmed to display pixilated, patterned, abstract or figurative images that can move across the screen, it can be interactive and visually react to ones touch like water.
Figures 1 a/b/c/d shows the Pixel Pixilated Interchangeable Lamp/Table that can change and display a variety of pixilated/chequered still/moving images/patterns, colour/image/pattern fading, lighting effects and can be reflective, interactive and sound/touch reactive.
Figures 2albicid shows the Pixel Plain Interchangeable Lamp/Table that can change and display a variety of colours, colour fading, and lighting effects including an aurora borealis effect and is sound/touch reactive and the Plain Interchangeable Lamp/Table that can change and display a variety of colours.
Figures 3a/lo/c/d shows the Pixel Imaged/Patterned Interchangeable Lamp/Table that can change and display a variety of still/moving images/patterns, colour/image/pattem fading and lighting effects and is sound/touch reactive and the Imaged/Patterned Interchangeable Lamp/Table that can change and display a variety of images/patterns including images of natural elements.
Figures 4 and 5a/blcld shows the Circular Holed Interchangeable Lamp /Table with a number of different sized circular holes and that can change and display a variety of colours.
Figures 6 a/b/c/d shows the Grass/Reed Interchangeable Lamp/Table that can change and display a variety of colours, Figures 7a/blcld shows the underneath plan of the interchangeable lamp/table with removable feet and wall bracket hole for wall fitting or suitable upright structure.
Figures 81albicidlelfiglh shows the four designs of the base lamp and lids.
