Abstract

A wiper blade arrangement comprises two wiper blades 1,2 connected to a rigid centre stem 3, which itself can be connected to a flexible hose by threads 4. The rigid centre stem 3 preferably has a plurality of holes 5 formed along its length that enables a positive jet of water to be sprayed from the hose, through the holes 5 in the rigid centre stem 3 and onto an underlying surface, such as a car windscreen, with the double blade arrangement 1,2 capturing the spent water. The blades 1,2 are preferably formed from rubber strips and the rigid centre stem 3 maybe in the form of a rigid tube.

Description

THIS INVF,NT1ON RELATES TO A WIPER BLADE
THAT WILL INCORPERATE A WASHING FACILITY
WITHIN THE UNIT ITSELF.
IT WILL GIVE THE USER OF THIS BLADE THE
OPTION OF A DRY OR WET SWEEP OF THE BLADE
DIRECTLY IN THE LINE OF VISION.
WHEN USENG THE WET OPTION SWEEP OF THE BLADE,
THE NEED TO DIRECT THE JET IS ELIMINATED
THE BENEFITS OF THIS ARE A POSITIVE POSITION OF
IMPACT THUS REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF LIQUID
USED, RESULTING IN A SAFER MORE EFF1:CIENT UNIT.

AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 1/1 THE UNIT COMPRISES
OF THE USE OF A DUAL RUBBER BLADE ARRANGEMENT
( 1 AND 2) MOULDED ONTO A RIGID HOLLOW CENTER STEM ( 3) SEALED AT ONE END, A LENGTH OF HOSE
WILL BE ATTACHED TO THE OTHER THREADED END
( 4) WITH A SERIES OF SMALL HOLES FORMED ALONG THE LENGTH OF THE RIGID STEM ( 5)

Claims (5)

1. A DOUBLE WIPER BLADE CONNECTED TO A RIGID CENTER STEM, WHICH IN TURN IS CONNECTED TO A FLEXABLE HOSE.
2. A BLADE AS CLAIMED IN CLAIM 1. WITH HOLES FORMED ALONG THE LENGTH OF THE CENTER STEM, WHICH IS SEALED AT ONE END.
3. A BLADE AS CLAIMED IN CLAIM FOR 2. WHICH
ENABLES A POSITIVE JET OF WATER FROM THE CENTER
STEM, VIA THE FLEXABLE HOSE.
4. A BLADE MADE AS CLAIMED TN CLAIM 3. WHICH
WILL CAPTURE THE SPENT WATER WITHIN THE
DOUBLE BLADES.
5. A BLADE MADE FROM RIGID PLASTIC TUBE AND FLEXABLE RUBBER STRIPS, FIXED AT ONE END.
