Abstract

239,473. Lacour, G. Sept. 8, 1924, [Convention date]. Portable pressure reservoirs. -Fire-extinguishing liquid expelled by its own vapour pressure is released from a reservoir on raising a cap g engaging the nozzle by a rubber pad. The cap g is carried by a spring lever h pivoted to a ring j screwed to the nozzle tube c and held by a lock-nut k. One of the liquids in the mixture, used boils at 13‹ C. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modified form of apparatus for aircraft in which the nozzle is connected to tubes arranged to spray the carburettor &c. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
