Abstract
A chair pinnie/ garment includes ties, loops, bibs, and apron pieces, to be securely fitted to either a chair or a person. Ties and loops allow for variation in size and type of chair or person. The pinnie may hold a padded cushion in place for use on a chair. The pinnie may include pockets for a functional storage aspect when worn on the body.

THE CHAIR PINNIE
The invention relates to a loose fabric chair cover, and an apron (as worn on the body to protect clothing).
LooFe chair covers and aprons are well known, but this particular product is designed to fit onto either a chair or a person, so Mat it may protect either the chair or clothing.
An object of this invention is to provide a cover that is easily applied either to a chair of a person.
The invention can be made up from a variety of different textiles, which gives the flexibility of being both aesthetically pleasing and Filly protective and functional.
Five designs have been applied to the same concept allowing greater variation in function and aesthetics.

The apron piece (2) to provide the legs and seat of a person or chair. The ties (3) to secure the chair pinnie to either a chair or a person. The loops (4) to tie to the ties to secure the chair pinnie to either a chair or a person. The pockets (5) which provide a functional element of storage to the chair pinnie. The neck loop (6) which secures the chair pirmie to a person. The pinnie front (7) variation of pattern d (figl3). The pinnie back (8) variation of pattern d (fig 13). The pinnie front (9) variation of pattern e (fig 17) showing a pocket (5) which may store a pad ( 10) when it is secured to a chair providing greater comfort when sitting.
The nes and loops (3 and 4) allow the chair pinnie to fit securely onto almost any shape dining or kitchen chair or person. The chair pinnie is designed to be fully adjustable.
As shown in fig 2, pattern a chair pinnie fixes to the body by securing the ties (3) over the shoulders and folded around the waist to meet and tie through the loops (4) securely at the side of the waist. When fitted to a chair (fig 3,4), the ties (3) on the bib ( 1) go up and over the chair back, loop around the legs and through the loop (4). The
ties(3) on the apron piece (2) are gathered together untie those ties(3) on the bib (1) to tiein a bow et the back of the chair,seculm gitin place.

Claims (7)
1. A chair pinnie that can be worn either on a chair as a loose chair cover, or can be worn on a person as an aesthetically pleasing and protective apron.
2. A chair pinnie as claimed in claim I where it can be fitted and secured into place using ties and loops of fabric so it can be fitted to a variety of chair and body shapes.
3. A chair pinnie as claimed in claim I or claim 2 where five different designs provide functional variation.
4. A chair pinnie as claimed in any preceding claim including pockets to hold items such as menus or note pads providing an extra functional element when used on either a chair or a person.
5. A chair pinnie as claimed in any preceding claim, which has pockets to hold padding in place as a cushioned seat for extra comfort when seated on a chair.
6. A chair pinnie as claimed in any preceding claim which is made from cotton, linen, silk or any combination ofthese fabrics.
7. A chair pinnie substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
