Abstract

238,868. Bolinder, E. A. Aug. 21, 1924, [Convention date]. Joints, carpenters' &c.-Bilged barrels and casks with dovetailed staves have the dovetail joint tapered from one end of the stave to the other to facilitate the sliding of the parts together. The dovetail slot 1 is thus wider at the upper end of the stave than at the lower, the dovetail engaging this slot being correspondingly shaped.
