Abstract

A training apparatus for a ball game comprises a telescopic pole 1 and a length of cord 7 attached to a ball 10. One end of the pole is supported by a base. The cord passes over a cord guide 6 and is held by a spool housing 4, which holds the cord at the chosen length, and allows the ball to be set a varying heights. The angle of the pole may be adjusted as required. Balls of different sizes may be used.
