Abstract

An insulated jug-like container for fluids such as sauces includes heating elements U in its side wall, a thermostatic temperature control R and a rechargeable battery W in its base. A preferred embodiment describes a sauce jug which additionally includes a separate base unit C for cordless operation, an unpowered stirring blade L freely rotating as sauce is poured, an adjustable handle D which may be positioned 360{ around the body, a hinged lid A and a filter holder S as optional features.

THE FCCHA=LE SAUCE JUG
The rechargeab\e sauce jug is unique because there is not one on the market.
(t bill initially be used by Professional chefs when working in a Kitchen of a restaurant. id chef finds him or herself going constantly back and forward to the "stove" (cooker) to get the saucepan.
If the rechargeab\e sauce jug was available it would save 50 much time and energy and as importantly it Could help maximize "stove" (cooicer3 space because there could not be sauce pan's or a bain maria on there.
It could also be ideas for plaiting functions as generally speaking it could mate a prokesionat chefs live on service much easier and manageable.
KEY A Hinged lid - folds back 180 degrees for easy cleaning.
B Body C Base docking unit D Adjustable handle - can be moved 350 degrees around circumference of body with screw tightening via handle.

Claims (6)

s 3. CLAIMS TEIE RECHARGEABLE SAUCE JUG
1. An insulated jug containing heating elements in its walls that are thermostatically controlled and powered by a rechargeable battery contained in the base of the jug.
2. An insulated jug as claimed in Claim 1 where the battery is re-charged
from a separate base unit containing a mains supply.
3. An insulated jug as claimed in Claim I or Claim 2 including a detachable stirring fan inside the jug.
4. An insulated jug as claimed in any preceding claim including an adjustable handle that is moveable around the outside body of the jug and which is locked in position using a screw device in the handle.
5. An insulated jug as claimed in any preceding claim that includes a slide in/out filter holder.
6. An insulated jug as claimed in any preceding claim that is made from metal, plastics material, glass or from a combination of these materials.
