TITLE: CARD FILE DEVICE BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a card file device.
More particualrly, the present invention relates to a card file device which has a cover to be closed without damaging the cover.
A first conventional card file has a cover. The cover has a hook-and-loop type fastener to adhere the cover on the first conventional card file. However, an adhesion of the cover and the first conventional card file will be weakened after a long period of usage. The hook-and-loop type fastener is easily aged or defiled.
Furthermore, the cost of the hook-and-loop type fastener is not inexpensive.
A second conventional card file has a cover and an elastic band to surround the cover and the conventional card file while the cover closes the conventional card file. A hoop fastens the elastic band. However, the hoop has a sharp edge to hurt a finger of a user very often.
A third conventional card file has a cover and a snap fastener disposed on the cover. The snap fastener is often broken after a long period of usage. Furthermore, the cover will be deformed or broken while a user open the cover strongly.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
An object of the present invention is to provide a card file device which has a fastener disposed on the card file device to be engaged with an elastic element in order to close a cover easily.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a card file device which has a cover to be closed without hurting a user nor damaging the cover.
Accordingly, a card file device comprises a pleat-sheet box, a cover covering the pleat-sheet box, a flap plate disposed on a front edge of the cover, a fastening element fastening the flap plate on the cover, an elastic element having two ends passing through the flap plate and the cover, and a fastener disposed on a front face of the pleat-sheet box.

FIG. 7A is a sectional view of a card file device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, a card file device 1 comprises a pleat-sheet box 2, a cover 11 covering the pleat-sheet box 2, a flap plate 3 disposed on a front edge of the cover 11, a fastening element 41 fastening the flap plate 3 on the cover 11, an elastic element 5 having two ends 51 passing through two through holes 31 of the flap plate 3 and two through apertures 12 of the cover 11, and a fastener 6 disposed on a front face of the pleat-sheet box 2.
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
The pleat-sheet box 2 has a plurality of upper openings 21.
Two end connectors 42 are disposed on the cover 11 to fasten two ends 51 of the elastic element 5.
The flap plate 3 can be in a triangular shape, a rhombic shape, a square shape, or a rectangular shape.
When the cover 11 is closed, the elastic element 5 engages with the fastener 6.
Therefore, the cover 11 can be covered and opened easily.
When the cover 11 is closed, the hand of the user will not be hurt and the cover 11 will not be damaged.
Referring to FIGS. 5 to 7A, another card file device 1'comprises a pleat-sheet box 2', a cover 11' covering the pleat-sheet box 2', a flap plate 3'disposed on a front edge of the cover 11', a fastening element 41' fastening the flap plate 3'on the cover 11', an elastic element 5'having two ends 51'passing through two through holes 31'of the flap plate 3'and two through apertures
12'of the cover 11', and a fastener 6'disposed on a front face of the pleat-sheet box 2'.
The pleat-sheet box 2'has a plurality of upper openings 21'.
Two end connectors 42'are disposed on the cover 11' to fasten two ends 51'of the elastic element 5'.
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
The flap plate 3'can be in a triangular shape, a rhombic shape, a square shape, or a rectangular shape.
When the cover 11'is closed, the elastic element 5' engages with the fastener 6'.
Therefore, the cover 11'can be covered and opened easily.
