Abstract

A drilling mast for a drilling vessel, is provided at the top side with first hoisting means (2) in a first firing line, for manipulating a first object, such as a drill string, in the longitudinal direction of the mast, and with second hoisting means (4) in a second firing line, for manipulating the position of a second object in the longitudinal direction, the drilling mast being in the form of a tube or sleeve with substantially hollow inside, for accommodating therein means, such as winches and cables, for manipulating the position of the first (2) and the second hoisting (4) means relative to the mast, in order to make the first and the second firing line accessible from the outside of the drilling mast. The device may include multiple setbacks (20) fingerboards (22, 23, 24) and piperackers (50).
