Abstract
A titanium socket or box swivel spanner, designed to drive nuts, bolts or other fixings, having three or more sides in contact with the fixing that is being driven. It is very light, strong, and durable. The titanium socket or box swivel spanner is light and reduces the weight carried by scaffold erectors or any other persons. It lessens the amount of wear and tear of the users clothes. It has a hole in the handle in order to secure the tool to a safety cord. The lightness of the titanium spanner means that the user will be using less energy. It also means that the user can carry more tools than before.
Description
2364008 TITANIUM SPANNER My invention relates to a titanium socket or box
swivel spanner, made wholly or partly of titanium metal, which is essentially a socket or box piece, having any number of nut or bolt driving faces of three or more, with or without a handle which is also made of titanium metal.
My invention relates to the fact that titanium is used as a distinct advantage over other metals, in that it is light, durable, flexible and strong.
My invention relates to applications which require a socket or box swivel configuration such as used in scaffolding assembly or similar, steel work or automotive applications or any other application.
My invention solves the problem of tool retention with provision of a hole in the handle in order to fix a security Wire.
My invention solves the problem of carrying heavy objects such as steel spanners on the users belt and damage to the clothes worn by the worker.
Important features are that it weighs significantly less than any other similar socket or box spanner It is strong, durable, lightweight, has some flexibility.
An important feature also is that the socket or box piece does not weigh more than 70 grams maximum.
A preferred embodiment of my invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which, Figure 1 shows a typical titanium socket or box swivel spanner assembly exploded view.
TITANIUM SPANNER
