Abstract
The Moveable Shower Curtain Clip is a shower curtain accessory that allows the shower curtain to be temporarily fixed to both the bath and walls during showering reducing both leakage and curtain billowing. It's ball and socket joint allows flexibility of movement to ensure it's most suitable position. It's rubber sucker allows it's removal, if preferred, when the shower is not in use.
Description
2358039 page 1 Moveable Shower Curtain Clip Through research over a
considerable period of time, 1 have found that many people who have shower curtains (especially those whose curtain is inside a bath) suffer the considerable annoyance and inconvenience of the curtain allowing water out between curtain and wall 1 bath and also ballooning causing the curtain to be sucked in against the person showering or billowing outside the bath wetting floors etc.
The sucker is attached to the tiles or the bath and the curtain is held in place by the spring-loaded clip. The multiple use of the Moveable Shower Curtain Clip (MSCC) alleviates both problems by securing the curtain to both walls and bath.
The clip consists of a plastic, spring-loaded clip connected to a transparent sucker with a simple ball and socket joint. The joint allows rotation and movement for the most suitable positioning. The cJip should be of a colour complimentary to the shower curtain to remain aesthetically pleasing.
Alternatives currently available consist of unsightly, semi-permanent 'sticky fixer type fixings with a sleeve to insert the curtain. These can only be fixed to the wall and can really only be used at one end of the bath for ease of entry 1 exit, thus only partially addressing the leakage issue and not addressing at all the curtain ballooning. The MSCC addresses both issues as it can be quickly fitted to both ends of the bath as well as attaching the curtain to the bath to prevent movement. They can be left in place or removed at vkfiii.
In the attached Fig. 1 1 have drawn the MSCC outlining ifs simplicity and emphasising it's rotational flexibility and rust-proof spring. 1 trust this will be sufficient for something so simple.
Ciaims 1. The Moveable Shower curtain clip is a fully rotational, removable fitting for securing a shower curtain to both the shower and bath to reduce water leakage and the curtain billowing.
