2356562 TIFIE BATHTDvT_ SAFETY PLUG The invention relates to a bath
-safety plug, which should be used when a child is in the bath, then -using the -conventional plug for the adult.
My invention is a safety devise for -children's bath time. Covering theeventof an accident or wWn a parent leaves the room just for what they think is a short while. After approximately 3-4 minutes the -water will start to be -released from the bath.
The essential features of my invention is that the plug isautomatically released from the plug hok in the -bath, -allowing the water to escape, if the parent is -out of the rooin longer than the set time. The safety. plug is madeof mainly plastic, water proofed materialsand nylon-cord.
My invention will be -described with -reference to -theaccompanying drawing in which the -drawing will -describe -and -exampleof my invention FIGURE I SHOWS SAFETY PLUG IN WATER AT THE START OF THE CYCLE.
FIGURE 2 SHOWS SAFETY PLUG OUT OF WATER AND WATER RELEASM AFTER APPROMATELY 3-4 MINUTES.
Number I shows retractable box with rubber sucker to secure itself to the bath.
Number 2 shows the -pull -cord being extended by hand to its maximum length.
Number 3, shows-conventional plug.
Number 4 shows -direction -of retractable, plug taking 3 4 minutes to -release -the, plug, for water to escape.
Number 5 shows water level.
Number 6 -showing the -bead that stops the mechanism.
Number 7-most important the plug is-retracted from the plug hole.

Claims (4)

  1. I The Bathtime safety plug comprising of a clockwork retractable box with a nylon cord connected to a standard plug which fits into the bath plug hole
  2. 2 The safety plug as claimed in claim one where the box is placed on the bath with a rubber sucker a fixing.
  3. 3 The safety plug as claimed in claim 2 consists of a small round plastic bead to easily set the timing of releasing the water between 2 and 5 minutes.
  4. 4 The safety plug claim which is made of all watertight plastic and nylon materials.
