Abstract

A toothpaste squeezer for dispensing toothpaste from a tube comprises a roller 2 operable by a lever 3 through a ratchet mechanism to roll along the tube, and which is connected to a locking bar 6 to prevent the roll-back of the roller 2 when the roller 2 is rolled towards the neck of the tube to exert pressure on the tube to dispense the toothpaste. Cog wheels of the roller 2 cooperate with running tracks 4, which also interlock with the locking bar 6 to prevent roll back. A spring loaded sealing pin 11 is provided to releasably seal the neck of the tube.

be ideal for children and elderly persons with arthritic hands. The control bar needs very little pressure to ease the toothpaste out.
The sealing pin when pulled down and locked with the handle, can then be returned, thus sealing the tube of toothpaste.
Once the toothpaste cap is off, it may be discarded because the top of the sealing pin is shaped so that it will plug the neck of the tube of toothpaste and stop further paste from escaping. This then eliminates the need to remove/replace the cap each time the tooihpaste is required.
The flow of toothpaste will stop immediately the control bar is released.
The platform and guide for the toothbrush allows the user to move the tooth brush back and forth in order to distribute the tooth paste evenly. Moreover, the design of the rollers will empty the tube of toothpaste, enabling the tube to be emptied completely and evenly.

Claims (6)

TOOTHPASTE SQUEEZER CLAIMS
1. A Toothpaste Squeezer made of netal an!_,...lastic usinr, a zd ratchet roller operated by a lever which is connected to a locking bar to prevent the roll-back of the roller. A Toothpaste squeezer which incorporates a spring loaded sealing pinused to allow/prevent the flow of toothpaste.
A toothpaste squeezer which may be wall mounted.
2. A Toothpaste squeezer as claimed in Claim 1 which uses a locking bar connected to the ratchet roller and which interlocks with the running track to prevent the roll-back of the ratchet roller ensuring that the ratchet roller only moves in one direction while the Toothpaste squeezer is in use.
3. A Toothpaste squeezer as claimed in Claim I which uses a ratchet roller which operates using cog wheels and two running tracks.
4. A Toothpaste squeezer as claimed in Claim 1 which includes a spring loaded sealing pin which allows/prevents the flow of toothpaste.
5. A Toothpaste squeezer as claimed in Claim 1 which would use metal for the spring and plastic for the rest of the device.
6. A Toothpaste squeezer as claimed in Claim 1 which would be wall mounted.
