Abstract

A roof obstruction, such as a roof light (10) is provided with a component extending from at least one side thereof having an angled surface (22) for directing rainwater away from the obstruction. The component has two triangular facets (22, 22) which meet at a ridge (24) and terminate at an apex (26) and may be provided with an insulating filling and covered with a waterproof roofing material.
