Abstract

A hair styling brush comprises two halves 1A, 1B each having a handle portion and a brush head portion wherein the two halves can engage each other to form a brush of conventional appearance and may also may be rotated away from each other about a pivot point (2 in figures 3 and 4) located in the centre of the brush heads. As shown in figure 2, when handles 1A and 1B are rotated away from each other a twin-handled brush is formed wherein the brush head is located between the handles.

Description

Interchangeable single-handled/twin-handled Hair Stvling Brush This invention relates to a hair styling brush.
There are many different types of hairbrushes, all of which have only one handle.
'Mis invention provides a styling rush, which is versatile, as it converts from a single handled brush to a brush with a handle at both ends.
This brush allows the user to style their hair without having to constantly swap hand and hairdryor from one side to the other.
The brush comprises of two half cylindrical brushes attached at the mid-point of the bristle zone by a pillar hinge locking device. By rotating the two parts of the handle the brush can be converted from a single handled to a twin handled rush.
Figure I and I A and 1 B show the brush with both handles locked together as a single handled brush.
Figure 2 shows I A and I B as the lwin handEd brush cafter the handles have been rotated relative to each other.
Figure 3 shows the single handle btvsh with 2 showing the hinge-locking device.
Figure 4 shows ffie twin handEd b rush after the handles have been rotated and 1 A and I B. 2 is the position of the hinge-locking device.

Claims (1)

  1. Claims A hair styling brush comprising of two half brushes attache within and at the central point of the bristle zone. The hinge locking device enables the two halves to rotate relative to each other in a twin handled fashion or operate as a single-handled brus.
    Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows A hair styling brush comprising two hemi cylindrical brush parts, each with its own handle, and attache within and at the central point of each bristle zone. This attachment comprises a hinged, locking device enabling the two hemi cylindrical brush parts to rotate relative to each other and to lock in either a singlehandled or twin handled fashiorl
