Internal fittings. - A caster for salt, sugar, &c., comprises a hollow perforated body d filled with a hygroscopic mass g, e.g. calcium chloride, the apertures i in which do not register with holes i<1> in a top h when the outlet holes e<2> register for discharge of contents, but which do register when the cap k is rotated to close the discharge aperture. The hygroscopic agent thus keeps the air dry, but does not come into direct contact with the salt &c.
